SICOTAS 71" Tall Bookcase 5 Tier Rattan Bookshelf with Doors for Library

I never write a product review but here I am today to write one for this product. I recent bought 2 bookcases and one credenza from this seller. I am greatly impressed and in love with the final look of this set up. The packaging was A+. The exterior boxes had dents and scrapes but, because it had extra foam all around, none of the parts were damaged at all. They are not solid wood but these are Not flimsy units. The individual parts have a solid feel to them. The assembly instructions where clear, all the parts where in the packaging with additional spares and, my sister and I, put all three pieces of furniture together. We are senior citizens but used to this sort of "activity". It took us around 3 hours for each piece. As you can see in the photos I decided not to add the back panels to the upper parts of the book cases. I prefer this look to the fully encased bookcases. In doing this they are still firm, nothing flimsy about them. I recommend these pieces of furniture!

I still need to move them where I want them and to anchor them to the wall, but after reading reviews I wasn’t worried about quality I was worried about putting it together. I read the instructions were terrible. They were so easy and step by step to set up that my 4,6,&8 year old helped me put them together and they are solid. They took forever with littles helping about 9 hours divided over two days for all three. But kids always make projects take longer. There were zero issues. Plenty of extra pieces just in case and they are solid and will work great for displaying our kids Lego creations in our family room which is what we got them for. Toys on the bottom and built Lego creations on top. We are very happy with them!

So happy with this purchase. The quality far surpasses what I expected to get for the price. It's really heavy weight and looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture. Took me and my father about an hour to put together. Instructions were pretty straight forward (images, not words), and we had all of the hardware and holes were drilled properly. There was one little chip out of one of the sides but it's on the inside where you won't really notice it. Doors can easily be adjusted to fit perfectly (ignore the reviews complaining about this, they don't understand how to adjust using the door hardware), and there are little feet screwed into the bottom that allow you to level it. Shelves have 3 different height options. Overall really really happy with this purchase. I would recommend it to anyone.

I ordered this bookcase duo along with the TV console and love it all put together! It’s exactly how I was envisioning. I’m giving the bookcases 4 stars for the following reasons: -the wood grain on the backing of each bookcase go in different directions (horizontal on one and vertical on the other), which is not too noticeable from a distance & when the shelves are filled, but that was a detail that stood out to me. -the upper two shelves on each bookcase have very small flaws around the edges. Again, not something that is noticeable from a distance so I’m choosing to ignore them. -The ‘R’ part was labeled as ‘S’ in the instruction booklet, so I was confused that I may have gotten the wrong part but everything still fit together. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase! Would purchase from this seller again.

I highly recommend buying these bookshelves. I have had them for a few months and they are holding up well. I needed bookshelves that would help add storage to my house (I have a small house and I am always looking for ways to add functional storage) and somewhere to hold all of our books. We turned our front room into an office/library/cat room and these shelves look good and function well! I am thinking of buying more to add else where in my house. These do take awhile to put together - if you buy multiple, once you get one done the others are pretty easy and quick to put together. I would recommend using a drill to get the job done faster.

I was really impressed with this product. I put this together by myself and it took maybe an hour and a half. I ordered two and one of the items had a large gash on the front. I let the seller know and within 8 hours they replied and told me they would ship out a new part. They also said they would refund my order because of the inconvenience. Overall, this is a great looking and sturdy bookshelf that was easy to put together and the seller was great.

Looks good and is solid. I especially like that the shelves are thick enough to hold heavy books without sagging. It will take time to assemble because of the nature of the project. Every piece has an inside, outside, left, right, up and down, so follow the directions carefully. The instructions are clear. The hardware is individually packaged and labeled, and all the pieces are labled.

I bought two of these. I started to assemble them and it took me HOURS. You need to pay VERY careful attention to the instructions (aka pictures, there are almost no words). I wanted to return the bookshelf at first because it was so much work to put together, holes were not correctly done and 3 pieces were broke when before I even started and was opening the box. My confidence in this product was gone! When I contacted the seller, they wanted to make it right to send me the missing pieces but it will take 3-7 days! Which, I need these bookshelves this week!! I've asked to return it and send me a label. Seller is very slow to respond!!

Très heureuse de cette bibliothèque! Matériaux de qualité, on dirait presque du vrai bois. Elle est solide et la couleur est parfaite!! Il est vrai qu'elle est longue à monter, mais les étapes sont claires et détaillées et en prenant son temps, les portes s'ajuste parfaitement!

Bought 3 to put along a long wall. Fairly easy to put together, great storage

I purchased two of these bookcases and after a short wait, only one arrived. I contacted the customer support and they immediately sent a second one. The installation was very easy. The only tricky part was sliding the back panels in between the braces on the box. Now that they are built, they look fantastic. I love the look of the extra thick shelves and the soft close doors were easy to adjust. Lord of extra pieces included in case something goes missing. I did make a mistake and put two of the black stickers that cover the cam tighteners on the bottom section. So now I have two that are visible where the upper shelf sure. I will have to find new black stickers to cover them.

Je suis très difficile sur la qualité des items, et celui ci à excédé mes attentes pour le prix. Il est parfait dans notre bureau/ aire de jeu et pour ranger les jouets des enfants dans le bas.

Superbe qualité je le recommande vivement!
