I’ve tried several massage head rest pillows from Amazon, all of which rested directly on the mattress. The problem with all of them was that either my nose would get smooshed against the mattress because the pillow wasn’t tall enough, or my neck was in an awkward position because the pillow was too tall. This is the first one that I’ve tried that is mounted on the side of your mattress. I’m so glad that I got it. I should preface this by saying that I have an ultra thick Tempur-pedic mattress. This product was large enough to accommodate the thickness of the mattress and to fit my head comfortably. It has a number of different adjustment points that enable you to dial in the perfect fit. The pillow is soft. Everything is good quality. It’s lightweight, but provides adequate support. It also comes with a carrying case, though frankly it’s never going to leave my bedroom. The only thing that I wish was different about this product would be for it to include a pillowcase or cover. The reason being that this one is just coated in vinyl, which means you have to put something over it, or your face will stick to it. I just wrapped a towel around it. Perhaps I’ll browse Amazon and see if I can find a complementary pillow cover. In terms of value, I think this is really well made and worth the money.

I love this! I no longer have to bring out my massage table from my attic if I just want a head massage or scalp massage. It works best with beds with no headboards. Otherwise, you'd have to position yourself to the side or go down towards the feet part of the bed. When I do my mother-in-laws scalp massage, I just move her bed from the wall and sit there to work on her head. She doesnt have a headboard so it makes it so much easier for her/us. The pillow is very comfortable and easy to wipe clean. We often fall asleep when having a treatment. My massage therapist loves it so much that she's going to buy herself one since it's also portable and great for at-home visits with clients. This is easy to install/assemble. It fit under my mattress perfectly and was easy to adjust to a comfortable height. It also stood secure and stable on my home office desk. I place it on the desk and then hunch over to rest and get my back massaged. The metal on this is strong and good quality. It's provided the support that i need to feel safe. It holds steady. IT comes with a storage bag to store away in my closet. I can also take it with me when I travel. Would recommend!

It was a little difficult to understand how to assemble, but I got there eventually! This is a really sturdy headrest — more sturdy than most of the headrests I’ve experienced at massage clinics! The support beam is plenty long. There’s no wobbling or movement. It’s not too heavy, but it can support a great deal of weight. The headrest itself has the perfect face opening — wide enough for eyes, but comes back for full shin support. Very soft. No noticeable smells on the headrest, but the carrying bag does have a normal plastic smell on the inside. The carrying bag is impressively sturdy. I like the way the headrest can fold on itself for easy storage, so you don’t have to take it apart and reassemble it between uses. We only use this for ourselves, but I imagine this would be great quality for professional use as well. Perfect for when you want a massage at home without smashing your face or turning your neck. $69 at time of review, which I consider a good value because it truly is great quality. Industrial quality! Very impressed. Would recommend.

I wanted a way to do massages at home face-down without buying a full table. This slides under the mattress and stays surprisingly steady, and on our bed, it worked great. The cushion feels soft but still supportive, so lying face down for a while is actually comfortable. Pros: • Slides under the mattress for good support • Works on a regular bed • Soft memory foam cushion • Height and angle adjustable • Waterproof, oil-resistant cover • Easy to wipe clean • A storage bag is a plus (helps during travel) • Can be stored by the side of the bed, which is another plus Cons: • Takes a minute to adjust at first, and the instructions were not great I like that it turns a normal bed into a quick massage setup. When we’re done, it’s easy to remove and tuck away.

Disappointing purchase. The headrest feels unstable and shifts on the mattress, making it hard to stay comfortable

The enclosed directions were not real clear, but there are only a few pieces to this unit so the assembly is not hard to figure out. The metal is sturdy and the locking mechanisms are strong and secure. The face pillow is soft and can be removed from the outer shell, if necessary. The unit slides easily between the mattress and box spring, and the base is long which keeps it securely in place. Once I was on my stomach and places my face into the pillow, I was able to easily unlock and lock the tilt until it was at the perfect angle for me. Please note, if you have long hair, pull it away from the locking mechanism before adjusting the tilt. I live this product and look forward to using it as often as possible, or as often as my husband will massage my back!!

The MEKEET Massage Headrest for Bed--- This is a pretty neat headrest. Massages on a bed are difficult and sometimes uncomfortable without a place to rest your face. This is a very good option. It is very easy to assemble and comes with a nice storage bag when not in use. The adjustability on this is great. We have a taller mattress and this meets the height, no problem. I did knock off one star because there is a bar that runs right by the chin and after a few minutes your chin ends up resting on this bar. If it were swooped on a downward angle, like a u shape, or if it came with a cushion it probably would be much better. But overall this is a great item.
