Measuring approx. 1″ x 1″, this horse head brooch is quite small, but the hollowed out design looks lovely. I have attached it onto on a black jacket, and the dark colour helps to make this yellow, gold-colour brooch stand out. The rhinestone embellishments sparkle in the light, but they don’t appear to be fitted very precisely. There is a slightly misplaced rhinestone at the very top of the longest part of the horse's mane on the brooch that I received, but it hasn’t prevented me from wearing it because I don’t think it is noticeable from a distance. The attachment pin on the back of the brooch is very short, which makes it quite fiddly to attach, especially when you have chubby fingers like mine. The pointed end of the pin is extremely sharp, so I keep pricking my finger on it, but it does mean that the fine tip goes through my jacket material without leaving any mark behind after the brooch has been removed. I think that this brooch is reasonably priced at £7.59, but I was expecting it to come in a small gift box rather than a plastic bag.
