2 Months Later: This Robot Mower Is Absolutely Worth It
There are a lot of mixed reviews on this amazing robot mower, and I’m here to clear the air and let you know that it is, without a doubt, WORTH IT! Keep in mind, reading is essential.. if you have more than .25 acres to mow, it’s not for you. If you want the job done super fast, it’s not for you. If you have a lot of trees or obstructions for satellite connection, go with lidar instead, this is probably not for you. I bought my Navimow i210 AWD nearly 2 months ago for my 0.25-acre flat yard with no trees, and it has been incredible. I start the job at 9am and by day end all of my grass is cut perfectly. The best part? The customer service. Anytime something is not going as expected, the app connects you with an AI agent, and if that doesn’t help, it connects you with a live person to troubleshoot the issue. Most of the time, from what I’ve experienced, it ends up being user error and not understanding proper mapping or app settings for the initial setup. It does come with an antenna, but my area has a great satellite signal with no trees, and I still haven’t had to take the RTK antenna out of the box! I have a brick house and it mows on all sides of the house right up next to the brick, without issue. I did upgrade to titanium blades, and even after 100 hours of mowing, they are still sharp and cutting well. The AWD pushes through muddy areas with ease, the stripes are nearly perfect, way better than I could ever do manually, the battery life has been great, and the noise level is so quiet that I can nap in my hammock while it’s mowing. Overall, the easy-to-use phone app makes this a 5 out of 5 in my book. The ONE complaint I do have is that the STOP button is on top of the mower. So anytime the mower goes under something like a water hose, playground slide, or bush, if it hits the stop button, mowing stops immediately. This was very frustrating at first, but I learned to update the mapping to avoid those few areas, and now it no longer stops while mowing. I’m very happy and want to thank Segway and Navimow for giving me more time back with my kids and a beautiful lawn to play with them on.

Mowing perfected
Very pleased with this unit. I have a .3 acre horseshoe style back yard with 100+ foot trees on 2 sides. GPS is pretty weak. LIDAR works extremely well. I suspect that all mowers will be LIDAR in the near future. Originally, all the mowers used a wire which was adequate but difficult to install and maintain. They used to be nearly $2k; now they're $400'ish. Soon LIDAR will take the same price plunge, but I needed a mower now. So I bought this unit. This mower is very quiet and does the job nicely. Super easy to install. Just set it outside at its docking station. Order it to map the yard via an app on your phone. It obediently winds around the perimeter of the yard and produces its own map. Then I order it to mow and off it goes, mowing back and forth until done.Returns to dock for a charge if needed. It will work day or night Automatically go home if it starts to rain. I schedule it to mow 3 times a week . It cuts about 1/2" off each mow. Lawn look beautiful after about 3 mows. Now I'm planning a path to the front yard and side yard in separate zones. It will dutifully follow the path and mow them too... all automatically. Just perfect.

The good, the bad, and the ugly (specifications)
The good, the bad, and the ugly... I absolutely loved the extreme easy to get this running with all of its features including use with Alexa. 10 out of 10! My wife hates it because it takes so long but she is an impatient person and way because she wants it NOW and will never be satisfied. I love all of the features to make it work and it does very well except for the algorithms which has this mower turning 360 degrees and retraces its tracks more than once. It also left islands of uncut grass. The worst fact that I wish to express is you are not getting what you think you are paying for so I give it a 1 out of 10!!! The reason for that low score had me believing that the .47 acre coverage you are paying a premium price for is shy on battery power. One would expect if you are a 1/4 acre lot and you buy a machine that can cut .47 (aka 1/2) acre in a single cutting, there should be sufficient charge remaing to cut the 2nd half with for a 2nd cutting. NOT SO, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! The data I provide you is this... After 1.8 hours of cutting on my 1/4 acre lot, it went back to charge the battery having only completed 27% of the mower's job!!! This proven and tested fact on its maiden run leaves Segway open for a potential class action law suit having GROSSLY OVERRATED the MOWING CAPACITY of this device!!! However in all fairness to Segway, that .47 acre rating was probably all down hill in one direction with no turns with a tailwind. Of course its going to take more power for all the complexities such as backing up etc. But retracing the same cut and leaving islands as of April 16th 2026 is something they have a lot of room to improve upon. Finally is have to tell you how EXTREMELY QUITE this lawnmower is! While I was walking immediately behind it making a video, the chirping birds were louder than this mower. You can't hear it passing a bedroom window in the still of the night. I will end up taking one zone and splitting the single zone into 7 zones the running one zone every night about 4 am when nobody is likely to steal the machine while it cuts along the street. It does had a GPS "go find me map" to let you see in the world where some in. I'm keeping it but feel I deserve to be compensated for this inflated speciation of this product!!! I'll have to use that work around till then. After further testing I was pleased and satisfied that I can split my yard into 7 zones at run one per day. The run last night took 48 minutes at 4:00 am. Instead of buying the $250 Segway "Garage" I found a very nice 78 dollar sheet metal garage from a popular Chinese competitor. Be advised that radio signals may inhibit reception but if you face the opening towards the WIFI you should be okay.

A lot of potential but reliability could be a problem
My initial experience with the system was great. Although not as simple as setting it down and pushing go, creating mowing zones and editing them was not too bad. It is impressive how well it can repeat its mowing path. Even more impressive is how it can work its way out of situations that you think it could not. There are some areas of my lawn with steps in elevation between the grass and adjoining sidewalk that I was sure would be a problem. However, it patiently tries multiple maneuvers and always finds a way to keep going. Unfortunately the good times came to a complete halt. My mower cannot mow now. It throws an error code shortly into a mowing task and shuts down. I contacted support and they were responsive in taking the info I was able to provide. It's been a few days and I haven't heard a peep. There wasn't much info I could provide beyond the error code and they haven't asked for anything. It is frustrating because there is nothing I can do. Nothing, but wait.

After the first hundreds hours - 50 mowes
Thoughts after first hundred hours of use. My porch has a ramp allowing me to park the mower in a nice dry roofed place. LIDAR allows it to go places with no gps signal. Strategy: Break the lawn into pieces to allow working out a strategy to keep the mower from hanging up. We have some small curbs that hung the mower up. I tried vision fences but still turned around on the edges and got stuck. It still mowed as it turns around so I set the edges a bit in, now when it turns it does so without hanging up. Leaving a very small amount of string trimming 2. You need multiple zones to train it to use a different path to the charger. The direct route that was the default had it crashing down my front steps when I hit mow. After creating another zone it allowed me to create a new path to the charger. It is well made not a scratch after crashing down the steps. 3. I had to put. Edging around some brick edging that was too short and hung the mower up. A bit of edge molding fixed that. 4. Rain guttering blocked one slim zone which when in place stopped the mower. I split the zone at the gutter. Then modified one zone border to allow a mower a path around the gutter pipe into the other zone, as you cannot create a channel between touching zones,. Now it goes around if the gutter pipe is in place or mows thru if it is removed. 5. There seems to be a solution to all problems. I established a daily mowing schedule with a 6 hour span which if rain pauses mowing allows my 2 hour mow to finish. I have weather turned on. I don’t feel the need to mow in the rain. 6. My training had the mower running over all sorts of hard things so when mowing with no hangups I changed blades. Segway blades were out of stock so I used after market blades. They did not have enough thread lock and began falling off after 60 hours. I put the included spares on. They seem heavier and the screws seem longer, they have generous thread lock I expect much more than 60 hours life, likely and better performance as the blade spins on the screw shaft. 7. I got this mower early spring, removed last years leaves and started mowing at 4 inches. I have moved to 3 inches. I have very little weed trimming with the string trimmer no blowing as all cut grass drops in place. I have not even started my push mower this year. My. Grass always looks freshly mowed. 8. If my ramp is wet it has a slippery section which stops Gladass (pun intended) the mower shuts down till I turn it back on and hit home. I would not mind a bit of rubber on the drive wheels - but it’s a minor complaint, it’s only got stuck once this year. 7.. it’s been a wet spring. Later this summer I may mow fewer days per week or not. This is an incredible mower. LIDAR allowed things GPS does not - I expect this will become the industry standard.

Good mower and fantastic app
So far this has been an amazing mower. I tried a gps-based mower but there’s a lot of trees on my property that created problems. So I decided to try this one and it works flawlessly. The app is also very good and can be used to program many variables, to check on the mower at any time, and as a remote control to drive to mower manually. Overall I’m very satisfied with this mower.

Easy to set up and program.
We are in love with our mower!! It is my husband’s new best friend. We no longer have a yard guy bringing all sorts of “Weed Seeds” into our back yard and our yard looks like a golf course. Excellent decision and excellent product.

It works, with some caveats...
I had actually bought a different navimow model that was GPS + wifi initially, then noticed it said its not for st augustine grass, which is my entire yard (I also didnt realize the 1/4 acre limitation meant the entire mapped area, not just the mowing radius per mow). So, I returned that one and got this one instead, and I liked the added bonus of having lidar like my samsung robot vacs. That being said, I wish this was awd, because it has difficulties on st augustine, even with cutting the yard 3x per week. It managed to get itself stuck digging a hole too, which Ive filled, but it keeps digging it over and over. Now, was it worth it...YES! I have not mowed my yard since I purchased this over a month ago, its done all the legwork. I simply have to edge and touch up some spots near trees, bushes, fencelines, etc. It recognizes all of these objects and avoids them nicely, but it swings WIDE to avoid them, leaving anywhere from 1-2 ft of uncut grass near obstacles. Still, not a big deal at all. My plan was if this mower works, sell my riding mower....I'm giving it another month to do its thing, and if its still doing it well, the riding mower will get sold. You need to be aware, as mentioned above, the yard size limitations are the total mapped area. You cannot split up an acre into mow sections on different days, which was my original plan so I could also have it cut my elderly neighbors yard. You'd need a few of these to cover that type of area.
