One of the most popular microphones for singers is the Shure SM58, which has a round top. This foam cover / windscreen fits that mic just fine. It's a snug fit, so it will take you about 10 seconds to pull it on carefully and smoothly, but once it's on, it stays put and doesn't look cheap (but it does make the microphone look a lot bigger!). The foam appeared strong, although I would be gentle when putting them on and taking them off just to be safe. The foam helps cut down and/or totally eliminate the popping noises from saying P's (in particular), and also helps with wind noise if you are performing outdoors. At the same time, it still allows sounds to get through the mic without any real noticeable muffling (and you can always turn up the input level just a bit if you do notice some slight muffling).I have wanted to get foam windscreens for my SM58 microphones for a while now, and these work just great!
