Fantastic product. Very easy and simple functions. It heats up in mins. Got different temperature mode you can set it. Easy to carry any where. And got multi options you can heat in the car or office or home in your own convenient. I would recommend to any one. Brilliant design and very good quality.

Only takes a few minutes to fully boil, very easy to use. Pretty quiet too and very easy to clean and store away.

Worked fine, only tested it on mains power.

After I received this portable electric kettle ( (White 1) ), I immediately went to boil 400 mL of water via mains electricity. This worked very well and boiled about 11 minutes later. Thumbs up at this point. However, I already actually own one of these portable electric kettles and the main reason I bought this particular one was because of the possibility of in-car power/boiling and although I accept it would take quite a while, I liked the thought of having boiling water 30 to 40 minutes later. So sat in the car with the engine running and the electrical system fully powered and working, I plugged the 12 volt car charger into the car and the kettle. The kettle beeped and the LED display came on. I then set it to heat to 100° C and again it beeped. I thought I was in business until after a twenty minutes. I noticed that the temperature had not changed at all. I tried a lower temperature down to 45° and the same thing happened, which is to say nothing. I decided to see if the charger would charge anything so plugged in my phone. While it registered that there was a charger connected, my phone actually lost battery in the process. This suggests to me that either the in-car charger was faulty or it provided such meagre charge that it could never hope to eventually boil water. Another thing to bear in mind is that the in-car offering (White 1) will also NOT work with any old USB-C cable, even up to 100W. So if you were planning on plugging in your 100W laptop charger for a cup of tea 35 minutes later, you'd be disappointed. Anyway, sadly for me, I wanted this to be able to make hot drinks whilst out in the car and it is never going to be able to do that. Reluctantly I have returned it for a refund. Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad charger, or maybe the car charger just doesn't work, who knows? To look at, the supplied car 12v power supply (what people of a certain age would think of as a cigarette lighter port) really didn't look like it was capable of providing the 100W charge the kettle would realistically need to eventually make it to boiling some 35/45 minutes later. Lastly, a point to note: 400Ml is the most amount of water you'll fit in there and is the 'max' line. So five out of five for the boiling via mains electricity. Sadly, one out of five (or zero if I could give it) for the in-car boiling. I'm going to round that up to a generous three out of five.

Bought to take to a hotel on holiday. Holds enough for 2 small cups of tea. The water heated fairly quickly. There were 2 sachets of cleaner to wash it out twice included also a bag and brush to clean it. Will take a little wash liquid and cups too.

I bought this for going away as I knew the hotel didn’t have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The kettle is a perfect size for going in the hand luggage & lightweight. I managed to get 2 small cups worth when filled to the maximum level. Unlike other reviews I didn’t find the lid to leak. It’s easy to use. It does however take about 5 minutes to heat up & the cable is short which are my only minor complaints with the kettle. However it will be accompanying me on future trips where I know I can’t make a cup of tea in hotel/hostel rooms.

The kettle works well. Nice stuff. I am using it at work to make a cup of tea.
