I’m really happy with this faux leather. It’s not super thick, which actually made it very easy to work with. I was able to use my sewing machine with no problems, and hand sewing was a breeze too. The quality is great for the price point, and getting a full yard gives me plenty of material for a few different craft projects I have lined up. My only minor complaint is that the backing is white rather than matching the front color. I was able to make it work, but a matching back would have been perfect. Still a solid 4 star choice for crafters!

My husband is attempting to learn basic leather work for a hobby he has. I ordered these for him to have material to practice with. The texture, thickness, grain and general quality is so leather like that he said it has been the best faux material to experiment with yet. He has used it it to make straps and a few other small things. The material itself is beautiful, holds up well to to his experiments, and is just generally a great find.

This faux leather comes surprisingly thick and feels more like leather than plastic. The lychee grain catches light with a subtle matte sheen, and the surface grips like real hide without that telltale plastic squeak. I re-covered a home gym bench, stretching it drum-tight over the foam; it took staples and never tore or puckered. The fabric hugged corners, held glue and stitches, and stayed smooth under pressure. The backing holds firm, and the top wipes clean after sweaty sessions. Use it for upholstery or heavy-use crafts and expect durable, polished results. Pros: Strong and good texture Cons: It had a slight chemical smell when opened but I'm sure it will wear off

I got this in hopes to fix up my seat on my snowmobile and it did the trick but living in minnesota I'm a little concerned about it holding up through our weather. I did have to sew parts of it and I did it by hand which wasn't super complicated but you will need a little thicker needle. It's nice material but probably best to be used indoors.
