It works well. I knew one of my TPMS sensors was out before I took my car in for a different issue. It came back with all the sensors reset because they had to reset some software. I tried this relearn tool, and once I found the right spot for my car it was easy to use. Unfortunately my car wouldn't reset unless all 4 sensors are working but it's a good tool to keep around for future needs. The one thing I didn't like is that this requires a 9 volt battery, which was not clear in the listing. I thought it might be a rechargeable battery, or at least a size that most people keep around. So I had to order some batteries, making this tool slightly more expensive than I thought.

I recently purchased four new tires along with new TPMS sensors. The factory-installed TPMS batteries typically last about 8–10 years, so if your vehicle is reaching that age, it’s a good idea to replace them. The sensors cost around $35 each and are absolutely worth it. Even if you buy sensors pre-programmed for your car, you’ll still need this “learning tool” to help your vehicle recognize and communicate with the new sensors, allowing it to alert you when a tire is low. Just install a 9V battery and follow the simple instructions. it took me less than five minutes to program mine on a Chevy Tahoe. This tool worked perfectly and was incredibly easy to use. Be sure to check if it will work with your car.
