Keeps from freezing my pump
Our old heater stopped working so hubby bought this and im glad he did it has done a great job in keeping the water from freezing We only have a 250 gal. Pond but we had issues with it freezing up the pump...not anymore with this it keeps it from freezing. It's been in the low 30s and still not freezing i also like the fact that it turns off and on at a certain temp so it doesn't run constantly. It would be better if it had a thermostat control that I could set personally, but the fact that it turns often on based on the water temp is also a help. And I haven't seen any change in my electric bill.

worked well , for about 2 months, then completely dead. if you live in a super cold winter time climate, I wouldnt recommend. Mild climates I am sure it would be fine.

worthless junk. spent $45 for nothing!
it failed after just one month of use! i would love a refund but there is NO contact info on the box it came in or on the user guide. a real piece of junk! wondering now if Amazon stands behind the stuff they sell?

Excellent heater.
We use this 1000 watt heater in the floating mode in a 100 gal. plastic stock tank. It works flawlessly. A great feature is the light showing green or red indicating the state of heating. I have purchased a second one to replace a failed inferior brand.
