There are many in the pack in multiple colors to work with various items. It’s a good idea, but the buttons were too small to work on the shirts. Slid through.

I ordered these to extend the life of some of my dress shirts. I really wanted to like the extenders but sadly they have some issues. First off i could not force the extender button through the shirt collar buttonhole — on two different shirts (an Isaac Mizrahi and a Tommy Hilfiger). Upon inspection i found the button for the collar of these shirts is slightly smaller than the rest of the buttons (something i never noticed before!). The extender button goes through the other (non collar) buttons, but not the collar button! Adding to this problem, the diameter of the extender barrel is too large - which prevents you from being able to push half the extender button through the buttonhole. On one shirt the same size button with a smaller barrel would have worked but the fat barrel prevented me from being able to push the extender button through. Finally, the extender’s loop seems too large. It kept falling off the shirt collar button unless I put a lot of tension on it. It needs to somehow give you the half inch extension without the entire loop being a half inch. I guess the loop as is would be fine if you needed a full 1/2” extension, but for a smaller extension it is too loose. I did finally find a casual shirt where I was able to get the extender to work as designed (see pic). This product is a great idea … but as made these are not quite usable for me.
