This case is an excellent match for the Kindle Scribe – the fit is precise and feels very secure. I’m very happy with the CoBak Case for the Kindle Scribe. The fit is excellent — the device sits securely inside without any looseness, and all the cutouts line up exactly where they should. The PU leather feels high-quality and has a nice texture that gives the device a premium look. The auto sleep/wake feature works flawlessly, and the cover offers good protection without adding unnecessary bulk. After daily use, it still looks new and has held up really well. Overall, a durable and well-designed case that does exactly what it promises. Highly recommended.

Great fit. Protects the latest kindle. Holds pencil securely. Opens and closed easily. Well manufactured. One minor con: a little slippery. But very minor.

Good for the price. Decent protection and nice storage for the pen, which was a big plus v the option that leave pen exposed. My only real issue is the cover scuffs and scratches very easily.

Pretty Good Case IT's not the Plum Colored but Kindle Brand case, but it isn't $140, either. The only downside is that the Colorsoft scribe in this case is on the heavy side. 23oz. The tablet and pen are 14.5 oz. It is a fully protective folio case that includes a gutter to hod the pen. My TPU case is 4.5 oz. so what are you going to do? a full size ereader is heavy. The pen has by tradition been on the right side. The Colorsoft has moved the power button to the right side as well, Just close enough to the top to allow room for the pen below it. But this provides a challenge for case designer. How to access the button when the case is .25" wider for the pen? This case has a "pass through" Button that pushes on the tablet's button. Works well I think. My TPU case just has an area of the case rim hollowed out to squeeze your finger through. Not as good.

I wanted a cover that I could put on my pricy new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft right out of the box. I have always trusted CoBak for my cases, and have never been disappointed. I do like this case. It is better priced than Amazon's offerings and offers better edge protection than the name-brand cases. It is a bit chunky, but that is a plus for me: it adds protection to a $600+ device. It is not as durable as the new Premium PU Leather Foldable Stand Cover, but it is the best choice for now. With the CoBak Premium PU Leather Foldable Stand Cover arriving tomorrow, this will go into the category of backup case should the need arise. It is a good case for the price. The black is black. It does not look or feel as substantial as the premium cover on my old scribe, but it is good for the price. It closes and holds shut okay. The fit is tight, which is a good thing; it was a bit snug during installation, which was easy. All the capabilities are there: pass-through for manual on/off control, rotation when turned, and a snug stylus holder so you don't have to worry about a very hefty replacement bill. It is an excellent cover for the price when compared to Amazon's own offerings. Just realize that there are no stands in the cover. It is a plan cover designed to protect your purchase. It does that well

The Cobak case is molded to look like carbon, but it is a hard plastic shell. It is difficult to put on and near impossible to remove. I will add that it also makes it unpleasant to hold an otherwise nice device. I got this case because it was recommended by a tech site I read. I have to wonder if they ever tried it, or just posted it for the affiliate link. They can't possibly have tried it and the other cases which they review/ recommend because it is so very difficult to remove it. It took 2 of us and several silicone spatulas (to avoid damaging the Scribe). I have to say that we proceeded very carefully, because I did not want to damage a device so new that I have not yet set it up, and because of the injuries I sustained putting it on. My hands were rough and bruised from the rough plastic edges on the tabs, and I did not discover until this morning that I had nearly slit my wrist putting the cover on. I would post a photo, but it is not very attractive. This is NOT a PU case as described. It is a hard, molded plastic shell with a plastic cover, molded to look like carbon fiber. It will probably protect it, at least from side and edge scratches.. but makes it unpleasant to use.

Not bad, not great. The kindle fits in the case well, but the edges have sharp lines running from the mold when it was manufactured and it drives me crazy while holding onto it. Plus it’s heavy and adds a lot of weight to something you often hold with one hand while reading.

Very good product, nice looking, good finish and fits well.

Not very sturdy and I start getting spoiled. Not value for money fine fit and okay protection cover. One magnet has come off as well.

I liked that the stylus is held securely inside the case. I am disappointed with the fact that after only a month the plastic siding broke and the magnets on both ends are no longer functional. Cover still is protective of the screen but aesthetically disappointing with chipped corners.

Fits very well for my use case. Wanted a book case and not a flip that Amazon is currently selling. The ability to store the pen inside the case is another feature I love as I do not need to worry about the pen hitting other objects or falling down.

Update: After using the case for less than two months, I’ve encountered the same problem as other reviewers. The plastic has broken away at the corner and a magnet pulls out when you open it. I usually read an hour or two a day but this case has never been dropped. When I first got it I had noticed a slightly rough edge of what I assumed was a seam in the plastic. I think it may have actually been a crack. It’s too bad it didn’t hold up. *********** Original review: I had problems with a magnetic case so ordered this one as a replacement. My scribe snaps in with a satisfying click. The pen is also secured inside the case. It feels quite sturdy and fits snuggly. The only part that is concerning is the “hinge” portion which feels thin and may be a weak point. Hopefully it won’t be a problem but I’ll update if it fails. Definitely would recommend, specially at this price!
