It is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 20 gallon long, and a 13.3 shallow tanks. I initially purchased this for my 20G, because the prior light I had felt limited (no blue / moonlight option) and it was oddly complicated. Although this was seems complicated, if you take the time to actually read the directions, it really isn't that difficult and it's fairly easy to adjust thereafter. I love using S1, and it's perfect for morning to evening. It's a great quality, and seems durable. I have accidentally dropped the edge in the tank, and it woeks fine. Loved this light so much, I bought a 2nd for my 13.3 gallon. It's about 22" in length, and the 18 - 21 fit, but I didn't like that the light was smaller, so I ended up getting the next size up. The thermometer is a great addition, and it's pretty reliable. I also have an old school glass thermometer in the tank, and the temp on the light matches the temp on the glass one. It is definitely worth it's price. If you're looking for a light with adjustable brightness and multiple color options, or one that you can simply "set it and forget it", this one is great. I am very pleased with this brand overall, and have a few other products from them. Highly recommend this light and this brand!

I love this light. It’s been running for over a month now and my plants have been growing like crazy. It was super easy to setup and 100% customizable. I love being able to change the % of red, white, blue and green. It looks super sleek on my aquarium. I’ll definitely buy another one of these if I set up another aquarium.
