does what its supposed to do, easy to set, watch for loose battery cover
I got this little digital clock to use in the bathroom, leaning against the mirror between the sinks, so that I would know what time it was when I was getting ready each morning, without having to have a clock plugged in. I have one much like this that is also battery powered that is on his last leg so this is its replacement. The battery type is LR1130 and it was when I took the battery out that I discovered that the little cover that screws back into place that holds the battery in it spot is a little bit continuous. You have to turn the little cover, counterclockwise to open it or clockwise to close it and hold the battery in but once I’ve taken the battery out and then put it back in, it seemed like the cover wasn’t super secure. In fact, I turned the clock back over and the cover came out and the battery came out resetting the time that I had just set. So it may have been user error, but just in case to make sure that covered it didn’t come off and let the battery dislodge, I put a piece of tape on the back as you’ll see in the pictures. Your mileage may vary and maybe it was just this one that I got where it was not as tight, but it’s consideration. Otherwise, pretty much like I had expected. It’s easy to set and you can press the top button to have a cycle between the date and the time, or you can press it again it’ll just display only the time which is what I prefer. It’s so good small size and if there’s anything like my last small LCD clock like this, the battery should last for a couple years without needing to be replaced. it does have a little short instruction manual about how to set it if you need that then it seems to be made as well as expected for something like this. I guess you could technically use it in your car, but most cars already have a clock built into the radio or whatever, so for sticking it up in the garage on a cabinet or like I said in the bathroom on the mirror would be a good use case. It’s about as thick as a box matchbook and about the same dimensions as a standard business card of around 2“ x 3 1/2“.

Basic Clock - All I Needed
I wanted a simple no-frills clock with a decent sized display to put in a mini pull camper. This works great as its pretty basic and intuitive to set the time & date. FYI there is no alarm on this... As I push the top "mode" button, it cycles between displaying: 1) time (hrs/minutes) 2) date (mo/day) 3) seconds (count up til minute value changes) Note, the tiny instructions talk of a "mode" & "set" button. These aren't marked on the clock nor is there a picture on the instructions of which is which. On the one I received, "mode" is the top button & the "set" is the btm (this is opposite of what the listing describes). I didn't knock any stars off because its easy to figure out. It came with the battery installed, ready to use. The button battery in mine is an AG10 (same as LR1130, LR54, etc) and easy to replace. Asking price for something similar at the local Wally World or Menards is actually higher at the time of this review, so to me its a fair deal.
