As an international computer science student studying in Germany, I found Python Programming for Beginners by Florian Dalwigk to be the perfect guide for diving into programming. This book is incredibly well-structured and makes learning Python easy, even if you have no prior experience with coding. Dalwigk does an amazing job of breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps, which is exactly what you need as a beginner. One of the highlights for me was the interactive, hands-on exercises. They made the learning process so much more engaging and helped me apply the knowledge immediately. The book covers all the essentials and even includes additional tips and tricks that make it stand out from other beginner books on Python. What I appreciate most is that this book is not just about learning the syntax of Python – it also encourages you to think like a programmer. After working through the projects and exercises, I feel much more confident in my ability to tackle my own coding projects, both for university and personal use. If you’re a beginner or someone who’s curious about programming, this is the perfect starting point. Dalwigk’s teaching style is both friendly and effective, and I’d highly recommend this book to anyone, whether you're a student like me or just looking to pick up a new skill!

I’ve been looking for a book with which I could learn coding as an autodidact for a while now. Some I tried, which did not catch me or even bored me with too much theory nonsense. Then I got this one recommended and gave it a shot. What more can I say other than that I have spent each day, since buying this coding in my python environment, making biiiig progress. The trick is that this book is more than just the 400 pages with good explanations. You get challenges, which push you to really grasp each new topic - that’s w big plus already, then you also get this guy “Florian Dalwigk”s whole Youtube Channel with the corresponding Videos to the sections in the book for free as well. For me, this made that crucial difference, since when I was bored with the book, I could watch the videos and learn that way as well. The book however goes better into detail, so you don’t miss anything important. For me personally, this is by far the best way to learn Python and I would recommend it to any student or anyone interested! 🙏 My brother is already a good programmer, but he stole the book from me a couple of times too 😁

I'm on page 68 of the book, but I've already found numerous errors. The QR code is missing on page 6. In exercise 4.5.1, the book says "False," while the video says "false." Also, in the same exercise, the book says "Yield," but the video says "yield" (with a different capitalization). This completely changes the solution to the exercise. In the next exercise, "first_name" and "last_name" are swapped in the video. And to top it all off, in the final exercise, where you're supposed to write a program independently, the instructor in the video uses a method ("split") that isn't even mentioned in the book. I don't understand how something like this can be published without being thoroughly checked multiple times. I'm still at the beginning,how many more mistakes will I find? It's a shame because the explanations are good, but this is really frustrating.

The best book buy it. It’s very good.
