My mother suffers from severe Parkinson's disease, and the frequent incidents of her slipping or needing assistance to stand were becoming a genuine hazard to my own back and safety. I can only regret that I didn't acquire this piece of equipment much earlier. This is a truly excellent device. It is exceptionally straightforward to operate; I was quite anxious about the complexity of a powered transfer aid, but when it arrived, it was practically ready out of the box and the operation proved incredibly intuitive.
