Terrific head shave and nose hair trim right out of the box!
Update (6/3/2025): Three weeks after I posted about my broken shaver, the device suddenly began to work again! I've been able to recharge the device many times since then with no problems. My advice is to avoid using this in the shower. Wet shaving should be fine since only the shave head would (and can) get wet. On a side note, the blade portion of the shave head cleans really well with isopropyl alcohol. I turn it open side down in the sink, then pour some iso over it. Fine hair shavings flow away easily, and then I rinse it all with warm water. Good as new! Update (1/22/25): Unfortunately the shaver got moisture inside and no longer functions. I can turn it on and see the display, but the motor is dead. I pried off the front panel and saw a lot of trapped moisture behind the screen. I'll try drying it off for a few more days, but I'm pretty sure this thing is cooked. It worked fine until last week (see update below) when I used it in the shower a few times. tl;dr I don't think this unit is as waterproof as the description mentions :( Update (1/15/25): Still working like a champ. I'm still using the original blades. I've usually dry-shave my head and occasionally my beard with no problems. Tried wet shaving for the first time tonight and WOW, worked like a dream. I shaved in the shower and used Cremo brand shaving cream. I cut my repeat passes down to 1/4 the usual and got a slightly closer shave, too. The beard trimmer with guard clip does a fantastic job trimming my eyebrows. It's also great for line jobs around the temples and sideburns (for my teenager who still has hair, hah!). Very happy with this shaver after nearly 2 years of frequent use. Definitely recommend this one for anyone looking for a complete, effective shaving kit at a reasonable price. Blown away by how well this head shaver gently mowed through my ~2-3mm head hair stubble in mere minutes, all right out of the box. I don't feel inclined to fuss over a razor-perfect head shave, and I'd say this shaver got me 95% of the way there with less fuss, no snags, and very comfortably. I was able to shave around the tops and rear of my ears with no problem, as well as between the "hot dog" folds above my neck just fine (if you know, you know). The only other accessory I tried was the nose hair trimmer which worked as intended. By that I mean it doesn't go all the way to the back of the nostrils for safety. I got enough cleared out in the front half with it, so my nose looks neater but also retains enough hair to do what nature intended (filter out dust, dander, etc.). The shaver came fully charged in a nice, compact set. I'll get around to using the exfoliation and trimmer accessories at some point, but I felt reviewing the shaver itself was more important. Ergonomically, the unit with shaver is light, easy to hold, and comfortable to control around my head. The power button is flush against the unit and you would have to really try to press it to accidentally turn it off while shaving. I appreciate the power lock function for traveling (hold Power for 3 seconds to lock the power button from stray activations), as well as the cleaning alerts (for rinsing the easy to detach magnetic shaving foil). Overall, I'm really happy I took a chance on buying this unit. My only wish would be for an inclusion of some sort of accessory case, but it's really not that big a deal. Great shaver!

Works really well.
Was skeptical as it’s a less expensive option, but man am I happy with it. Easy to clean, battery lasts, charge is fast. This was a great buy. Showed up late for my trip, and had to take my more expensive unit. Amazon made it right, and in the end I would buy another if or when it goes out.

Love the razor, but the what's up with the pink tax?
Look closely. The pink "women's" version appears to be similarly priced to the other colors/variations. However all the others are "men's" versions, which include attachments for a scrubber, massager, trimmer w/combs, and nose hair trimmer. Instead of the usual practice of making an identical women's version and charging more, they just leave things out. Why not charge less?!?!?! I'm glad I decided I like blue better, but it's still infuriating! I'm very happy with the razor so far, and the nose trimmer (yes, I'm a woman, and yes, I have nose hair!!). I like that it has a travel lock mode, but am concerned that it's based on holding the on/off button down for a few seconds, since it seems like that could still get activated in a suitcase.

a great value for the price!
I’ve been using the SHPAVVER 5 in 1 Electric Razor for almost a year now, and I’m extremely happy with it. For the price, this shaver delivers excellent performance, and I’d definitely recommend it to others! The razor is very easy to use. It’s lightweight, and whether you’re holding the shaver body or the head, it feels very comfortable. Just turn it on and you’re good to go – no complicated instructions needed! The shave is incredibly close – I get a smooth, straight-razor-like shave every time. I do feel a little hair after shaving but I’m happy with the length because it helps me avoid dealing with ingrown hairs. I’ve used it both wet and dry, and it performs well in both scenarios. While dry shaving can occasionally pull on a hair or two, it’s never painful, and I’ve never had any bumps or irritation. I’d say it’s more about personal preference, but I’m happy with either way! Battery life is fantastic. I can get 10-15 shaves on a single charge, and it only takes about 10 minutes to do a full shave. It’s fast and efficient, making it great for quick use when I’m in a rush. Cleaning is a breeze. I use a vacuum to quickly clean up the shaving head, then rinse it under the faucet and spray it with alcohol to disinfect. It also comes with a small cleaning brush, but I’ve found the vacuum method works better for me. As for the accessories, it includes a facial cleaning brush, sideburn trimmer, and nose/ear trimmer, though I’ve mostly just used the shaver itself. I did have a small issue with charging – I wanted to use a quick charge cable, but the shaver only works with standard 5V1A cables to prevent overcharging. When I reached out to customer support, they were super helpful in explaining this limitation. They were quick to respond and made sure I understood why this happens, which was nice. For the price, this is an incredible shaver. It performs just as well as higher-end models, but at a fraction of the cost. If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable electric razor, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

EASILY WORTH TWICE THE PRICE...
I've put off buying one of these for years because the last one (that I spent nearly $200 on) was—generally speaking—garbage. I had funds on account from a recent return, saw this, read all the positive reviews, and thought "what the hell?" I have to say: I'm quietly astounded. · FIRST: it came fully charged. Noice. · SECOND: the grill is held on by magnets! Nice touch. Those held on with tension clips or crimp points ALWAYS break. · THIRD: This thing is a #$ing LAWNMOWER! I had an easy 8mm of growth up top. My hair is pretty thick for an older dude. I was pretty sure I'd have to knock it down with a trimmer first. This l'ill guy laughed at that. Sure, it took longer than it will in the future, but it got the job done in about 15min with the occasional tap/rinse out. · FORTH: Zero nicks or abrasions. My skin can be fussy & sensitive, especially on my head and the crown. Shaving my head regularly had me walking about with red welts on my noggin for a few days afterwards, and I'd often get ugly, painful ingrowns after. This thing—even with a dry shave—was a non-issue. · FIFTH: Ergonomically well-designed. I really dislike those that are shaped so funky "to provide better control" that they wind up being rather awkward, ESPECIALLY with a wet hand. This is a good, simple grip. As a bonus, as a disabled guy with only partial use of my right hand, this was still rather easy and comfortable to use no matter which hand was driving. And yeah, it does a great job on the face, too. SUMMARY: If you're a baldy, or want/need to be one, just get this. Yeah, it's only been here a few hours, so we'll see about durability, but honestly (for essentially the price of five fancy coffees) it exceeded my expectations so much, I'm planning on buying two more straight away: one for me as a backup and one for a bald buddy of mine. Frankly, even if this thing died twice a year and needed to be replaced, I'd probably STILL think it was worth the cost. Cripes knows I'll save that much on shampoo in that time. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go toss all of my other old shavers in a box and stash them in the garage...

Worth it!
Brought back in 2023, and still going strong! Hasn't failed me yet. I've dropped so many times and still works with no issues. Would recommend this shaver for sure.

Good for the Price
I wanted to do something different after 5 years with a Panasonic ARC5, having gone through lots of blades and foil with the razor having almost no battery life left. This 7-blade design is all the rage with headshavers these days, so for a price that's less than half what blades and foil would cost on my ARC5, I decided to give this a shot. In the past I've stayed away from the round blade design, particularly because cleaning them, even under running water, is a huge pain. In the case of this razor, the head is magnetic and it just pulls off. Once it's off the bottom side is open, so it's a simple matter of brushing it out and running it under water and it cleans fast and easy. The rest of the unit is waterproof, so you can run it under as well and it cleans spotless. As far as the shave quality goes, it's about what you'd get with a more expensive razor. The head is not as flexible as it looks in photos, but it does bend to the roundness of your cranium. It works pretty well for shaving the face as well. It's also pleasantly quiet too, which surprised me since it's got so many moving blades. My head came out nice and smooth and my face was nicely free of scruffy stubble. It's not as close as a traditional blade, but then no electric is. The only thing that's really as close as a blade is a blade. It uses a standard USB-A to USB-C cable for charging, which is great because that's a lot easier to replace than some proprietary cable would be. The downside is you have to supply your own power block if you want to charge it in a power outlet. As far as attachments go, I tried out the trimmer attachment for eyebrows and it worked great - nice and even, and it just didn't take everything off so I look like a weirdo that should have their picture on an FBI wanted poster. I tried the ear/nose hair attachment and it left them both nicely trimmed and groomed properly. The display is a bit confusing because it shows the estimated minutes of run time left, rather than the percentage of charge left as others razors do. I had no trouble with battery life. Total shave time was about 10 minutes including the time I was working with the attachments, and it still could have gone for 75 more minutes if I wanted. Durability remains to be seen - I purchased it with the extra $3.00 warranty replacement plan so if I don't get 2 years out of it, at least I'll get my money back. If it breaks after 2 years, at least my bank won't be broken. Overall, this is a good deal and you really get a lot for the low purchase price. Longevity remains to be seen.

Good head shaver
I've been bald for a good 20 years and have tried various shavers and techniques to closely crop my hair in that time. (In shower, out of shower, steel bladed trimmer, ceramic bladed trimmers, mach 3-style blades, Fusion style blades...) In my experience so far, you always need a razor blade to finish off if you want to go completely shaved. So for me, the questions for an electric head shaver are; How much of the hard work does it do? Is it quicker than manual shaving alone? Does it cause any irritation? Does it create any mess? How easy is it to clean? Working through these, I've been really pleased with this shaver. How much of the hard work does it do? The vast majority. Like 90%. You could probably only use this and be pretty much totally clean shaven. As mentioned, I always find you need a blade just to finish off. But after using the shaver, I find it very easy to step into the shower and clear-up any wispy bits of hair that have been missed. Is it quicker than shaving with a blade alone? It is for me, yes. You can whizz through the majority of your stubble in a few minutes and then off with a blade in another 1. Any irritation? I haven't found any irritation from using it. Does it create any mess? None - very impressed. My previous regime for the last few years has been using a beard trimmer without the guard to cut really close and then sometimes finish off with a blade. However, I've only got a small vanity sink and the trimmer would tend to end up with hair on the floor and shelf behind the sink etc. This shaver collects all the hair so there is no overspill. How easy is it to clean? I have to say I'm loving this bit. I have tried a similar device to this before (20+ years bald remember!) and cleaning the shaving heads on that one was difficult. But the magnetic hold on this shaver is great - you can just pull away the whole shaving plate and run it under the tap cleaning away the captured stubble. I've added a video to show this. (Excuse the cut stubble in shot! But it does show how you can easily wash it away.) Other thoughts. I like that this shaver uses a USB C charger so you've probably already got a suitable spares at home and can certainly buy a replacement easily if ever needed. I haven't had it long enough yet to comment on durability but it appears good quality, no concerns so far. Just in case there's any newbies to head-shaving, keep in mind these kinds of shavers do need you to be starting with your hair relatively short. So if you're shaving it every week or two, this will be fine. However, if you're starting off with some hair of any reasonable length, you'll need a trimmer and/or to go at it with a blade in the first instance. But once you've got it short, a device like this shaver should keep you on top of it very easily. Full transparency I have been offered an incentive to leave a review, but rest assured this is my honest opinion and I wouldn't intentionally want to mislead anyone else. I've tried similar devices in the past and so far - the number of heads, the ease of cleaning and it being waterproof all make this the best I've used. Just be mindful you will probably always need a blade for a very quick full tidy-up.
