Affordable option for training
These are a great, affordable option for karate practice. I like using these for my son during training at home or at the dojo. They’re lightweight, breathable and comfortable to move in. The elastic waistband with drawstring helps get a secure fit, which is important during practice. They’re definitely more on the casual/lightweight side, so I wouldn’t use them for competition, but they’re perfect for everyday training.

Great replacement pants for Tae Kwon Do
My son is growing like a weed and his old tkd pants are a few inches above his ankles. I got the size XL which was rated for heights 4'11 to 5'2". My son is just at the threshold at 4'10" and about 95 lbs. He wore them for a class and said they are a little big, but I hadn't washed them yet. The drawstring is functional and could be used if the pants are still a little too big. There's definitely a lot of stretch in the waistband. The pants held up well for his class and feel thick and good quality. They have plenty of room for activities, with a really big gusset, allowing for kicks of all types. These should fit him for another 18 months or so.
