I have IBS and heard that berberine may help with it. I also heard that it may help with weight loss. So I gave it a go. As for the weight loss? I haven't noticed any. What I did notice though is that I have been less bloated, gassy, and my sugar cravings were gone. The capsules were easy to swallow and after some research the strength these come in is perfect. No unpleasant side effects. I tend to get constipated with my IBS and that has improved with this supplement. Greatly reducing my need for medication to help with that. A good supplement but they need to show the ingredients in the listing, I normally dont select products in which the ingredients list is hidden, fortunately I can confirm that it has no fillers in it and is safe for someone even as sensitive as I am to most ingredients. Value for money isnt brilliant but overall its a good product.

It's purpose is lower blood sugar, improve cholesterol levels, aid in weight management, and support gut health by acting as an antimicrobial. I cannot say whether it achieved that result or not but it certainly caused me no harm.

These 'Berberine Supplements 120 Capsules' by brand "VOSIFSDIY" are exactly that - capsules as opposed to tablets. I know that may come across as an obvious thing to say but sometimes folk say capsules when they mean tablets and vice versa. The capsules are a custard yellow kind of colour and are medium-to-large sized I would say. I have uploaded a pic with a capsule next to a five pence piece so you can see for yourself. As far as I am concerned they are tasteless. I sniffed the inside of the bottle they arrive in and did get a slight scent but this has not translated into taste so far as I have taken the capsules. With regards taste I wash them down with water too fast to taste anything even if it is there, which I don't think it is. The pills arrive in a fairly generic round plastic pill bottle with a screw cap lid - no child lock. The recommended dose of these is two per day, to be taken with food. This is a 120 capsule bottle and taking 2 per day fairly obviously makes it a two month's supply, or thereabouts. It is early days here and too early for me to speak of any health benefits but the capsules seem high quality and well made and I am happy to keep taking them for the foreseeable future. I've been taking two per day and haven't felt much in the first week or so of taking them, but importantly I haven't had any ill-effects either. I guess I will have to wait and see with my fingers crossed that the health benefits are real and manifest themselves. I think they're good quality but best I can do right now score-wise is 4 stars because I'm unsure of the efficacy at this stage in time.
