It allows you to play on 2 new cards with additional mechanics and new challenges. This expansion brings much more than two more cards to the series. Each of its boards, the UK and Pennsylvania, adds additional rules that change the way you approach the game. Ticket to Ride UK changes the game dramatically. The card brings into the game a new notion, technologies. Each player will have to develop them during the game to take the ancestry over their competitors. The game begins with limited access to technology, which pushes players to make strategic choices early on. As the game progresses, the game expands, revealing new paths to victory. The strategic choices are multiple making the game alive and dynamic. Players can decide to focus on the bonus points of certain technologies, or instead focus on their network by aiming for long roads. Ticket to Ride Pennsylvania, is arguably the extension that brings the fewest additional rules. However, the map of Pennsylvania is not devoid of strategies. Quite the contrary! To emerge victorious from the game, players will have to choose the roads to build, and especially when to build them. With this extension, relive the construction of the first French railway lines against the backdrop of Impressionism and Industrial Revolution. Also included is the Conquest of the West which allows you to play up to 6 and where you will develop a rail network from your hometown.
