I am not sure why it says anything about batteries. I bought this here because my salon was out at the time but it’s half the price through a salon. This Amazon seller is doubling the price so if you can find it elsewhere it might save you money. It is good stuff though if you have frizz because it helps tame it otherwise I didn’t notice anything else. **Q: Can you use this on dry hair or does it have to be wet?** A: I use it on dry hair sometimes but mostly wet hair.
