So at first I was confused on as to why the key was not removable, I thought it was stuck. I didn't know that with these locks it works that way. I thought it was cool and I like the feature, but it's something to keep in mind. Each lock has two keys and they only work on that lock -- each lock has its own set of keys. Nice for key management. I think it's a good value per lock too. I put them on a ball valve lockout to ensure people didn't open the water while I had the pipe cut and it worked as they should have for that purpose. Real nice, they fit without issue and worked to prevent me from getting wet.

I pick locks for fun. I have picked and raked other slider based locks with relative ease. I haven't gotten one of these open yet, I consider that high praise for these locks. More importantly, this lock continues to work with the key every time I use it after my attempts to open it without the key. It's a slider based LOTO, and you cannot remove the key while the lock is unlocked. It is not spring loaded, so you're manually turning the core without any help/additional resistance to both to lock and unlock the lock. The lock continues to hold up after significantly picking attempts, so I'd say the body is strong enough for typical LOTO use, the lock is more tamper/pick resistant than your average pin-tumber by a good margin, and the lock functions well. I give these high marks and would say that you're getting a good five pack of LOTOs at a good price if you order this.

Great for home use to lockout electrical panels and equipment as designed. Very light duty though, as the bodies are all plastic with some stainless bits internally for lock system. They're not encased innplastic, but actually with plastic bodies, therefore very light in weight. Keys are brass and each one works flawlessly with positive engagement. A couple of the locks had this rubber cement type residue on all the bodies from what looks like poor application of the weather proof labels and then reapplied with the glue. Fairly priced, just hoping they can survive the outdoor environment.

L.O.T.O. its required for safe repairs on equipment. These serve the needs exactly as intended. All LOTO locks are cheap they and they aren't meant for high security. They are meant to function to keep a disconnect locked in the off position. I have no complaints and I'm overall very happy with these

I have a side job as a Safety Officer for a construction company. I am always watching for great deals for Safety equipment, and was extremely stoked when I came across this Lockou/Tagout kit. It has an awesome price, the quality is great, and they work as they should. I like that each lock has 2 keys and are pick Resistant locks. These are simple to use, be aware that these are safety/security locks, and as such, when the shackle is open, the key cannot be removed.
