Key Fob Replacement for 2017-2021 GMC Acadia/2018-2020 GMC Terrain, Black Plastic SUV Key with 5 Buttons

This did not work for my 2020 Terrain ... ON Amazon, there TWO types Smart Car Key Fob which they say, it works for GMC Terrain 2018-2021 (they, from outside, look the same, so you need to read description) 1. One is HYQ1AA this connects on 315 MHz 2. The second is HYQ1EA this connects on 433 MHz To program you do NOT need a locksmith, just watch video on Google, works like magic … But because the Fobs use DIFFERENT radio frequency, only ONE type will work. For Terrain 2017-2019, and some 2020 the likely choice is HYQ1AA, at 315 MHz. This worked for my 2020 Terrain. For Terrains 2021 and up, and (likely) some 2020. the choice may be HYQ1EA, at 433 MHz. I tried it for my 2020 Terrain – it did not work. The suggestion: if you need replacement and are not sure, order BOTH types and try which will work (programming 2 Fobs [minimum] takes the same time, as up to 6)

The one we got from the dealership was ratty so we got new ones. Game changer
