I found this easy to use, the only thing that I wished was in the directions was the best temperature for different hair like they have in the listing. I wasn't sure so I just used the default temp. I appreciated the long cord, and heat-resistant glove. This does get very hot, very fast. One thing I noticed is when putting down it tends to lean forward on the stand. So, make sure you twist the plug, so it tips back and doesn't burn anything. Some steam or smoke came out of my hair when using (probably because the default temp was a little too hot). I have straight, thin hair. My hair didn't smell burned though. I wore the glove on the hand I used to put my hair into the crimper. The glove seemed to work well, no burns. It curled these cute waves in my hair. The waves lasted all day, then even lasted through the night and through half of the next day! I found the price to be very reasonable for the quality of this crimper. Overall, I am so happy with this!
