I always wanted to try one of these hair crimpers. I found this easy to use, the only thing that I wished was in the directions was the best temperature for different hair like they have in the listing. I wasn't sure so I just used the default temp. I appreciated the long cord, and heat-resistant glove. This does get very hot, very fast. One thing I noticed is when putting down it tends to lean forward on the stand. So, make sure you twist the plug, so it tips back and doesn't burn anything. Some steam or smoke came out of my hair when using (probably because the default temp was a little too hot). I have straight, thin hair. My hair didn't smell burned though. I wore the glove on the hand I used to put my hair into the crimper. The glove seemed to work well, no burns. It curled these cute waves in my hair. The waves lasted all day, then even lasted through the night and through half of the next day! I found the price to be very reasonable for the quality of this crimper. Overall, I am so happy with this! It only takes a few minutes to have beautiful waves that last a long time -I totally recommend!

This crimper functions well. It heats up quickly and makes pretty waves for large sections of my hair. It is easy to use, although it does get very hot. I like that this comes with a glove to prevent accidents. For the price point, I feel like this is a great quality hair crimper

Fantastic quality! This device heats up super fast and i absolutely love how there are multiple heat settings! This is extremely easy to use and you can do large sections of hair if desired. This was extremely fast to do and didn't need to do multiple passes. great quality, easy to use.

This is super easy to use. It heats up super hot and the cord is a good length. It performs as well as I expected it to perform overall. It makes quick work of my hairstyle. This item would make a great gift also. The quality and the Dual voltage also convey a greater value in my opinion too.

All the features of this hair waver work as expected. The metal rest allows it to sit pretty closely to my vanity surface, so I use a silicone mat to set the iron on. The controls are easy to figure out, and I like the temperature options. I have found that my waves look more natural and less crimped looking if I don’t leave the iron on my hair as long as recommended, and I curl with the digital display facing downward and the metal rest facing up. Curling too closely to the scalp makes my hair look less natural. I pull the hair at my part straight up and curl front to back, to let it fall more naturally. It requires a little trial and error to find what works best for your hair, but I do know that once you curl a section, it’s difficult to redo that piece without making it look straight and frizzy. The power cord isn’t quite as thick as I was expecting. I currently have a shag haircut, and I think the iron would be better for people without so many layers in their hair.
