Low cost but high quality
I needed to replace the spray head on my almost 30 year old Graco X9 airless sprayer. You can still get the Graco head at the big box stores but it's rather expensive I really don't use it enough to justify that cost. But when you need it, you need it so I started looking for a lower cost replacement head and found this one. At about 1/3 the cost and the good reviews, I figured that I would give it a shot. The gun both looks good and sprays well and included tip sprayed the outdoor enamel perfectly. Is it a direct match to the Graco gun? No, but it is more than enough for just about all but constant heavy duty commercial use. About the only issue I had with this gun is that if the nozzle is tight, it can be tricky to reverse the tip for cleaning as it tens to jam but since the gun rarely required it, that was not much of an issue. When I did need to reverse it, I simply l simply loosened the nozzle and it turned easily The gun clean up well when the job was done and should last for many years to come.

๐DONT BUY UNTIL YOU READ THIS REVIEW ๐
Donโt let The negativity of others talk you out of a product worth buying ! This is decent! like anything else in life i.e house , car , kids , relationships etc it will require CARE AND MAINTENANCE..... But this slick looking well built no nonsense sprayer at a fraction of the cost as a graco! Note I own multiple graco airless sprayers . I am just a proud American hoping to help another whom needs an item like this and is thinking about wasting money on another cheaper or more expensive unit! This unit performs! Bottom light . God bless the USA! Tip maintine your tips and nozzles as well as you spraying rig itself . Most problems can be traced to tips and filters inside of guns but this has the very same technology as a graco basic - mid model! Thanks happy shopping ! Anonymous US citizen!

Good mid-range gun
This gun is a good compromise between the cheap, low-end guns and the expensive, high-end ones. It did a great job of applying Dunn-Edwards Evershield with a Wagner 9170 sprayer. My only complaint is accessing the filter. The manual claims it to be easy-access, but it is far from that. To remove the filter you remove the connector at the bottom of the handle, swing the handle to the side, remove the spring assembly, and then fish out the filter. This is not a one piece filter with the plastic indicator attached, it is just a tubular screen. That normally wouldn't be a problem, but once you remove the spring assembly, you need something to reach down into the handle to retrieve the filter. When doing this in the midst of a paint job, it's a mess. Removing the connector is a bit tough as well, since the handle flexes, or floats, there is nothing to use as leverage when loosening the connector. I put the top of the gun into a vise or use a large adjustable wrench to hold the top. Filter issue aside, this is still a decent gun. It is built fairly solid and should hold up well to a bit of abuse.

excellent product
I purchased this to spray paint a metal roof. My existing contractor grade sprayer was very old and needed expensive parts to refurbish. This new gun was a fraction of the cost to refurbish my old one and works flawlessly. Lovely to use and so far after 12 5 gallon pales of paint is still going well.

Do not walk away from this after reading negative reviews
My Graco gun was waiting on parts so I ordered this one to get me through a job. The reviews of it leaking are true! The tip does not lock into the guard! You must make sure the guard it tight and that you do not pull on tip when clearing it out or you will get paint everywhere. Or just buy a better guard and tip. They are cheap. This gun sprayed just as good as my Graco at a fraction of the cost. Iโm still fixing my Graco but Iโll also be using this gun on the job site!

Reasonably priced and worked perfect
Used this too paint interior & exterior of a new log cabin. No issues. Priced reasonably. I'm not a painter by profession, so I wasn't looking for anything to break the bank. This was PERFECT.

Quality
I use Graco Sprayers so I was a bit skeptical about this purchase, unsure as wether the quality and functionality would match up. The price of this gun is way lower than a Graco gun but right out of the box the weight and build quality of this is very good. I have had this for over a year now and no regrets. I switched off the Tip Guard as well as the Tips to Gracoi Tips so I cannot speak to those parts. I never used them but the gun has been working hard flawlessly. I highly recommend it.
