I got this to catch the laundry that gets thrown on the floor by the washing machine. I placed it on top of the washing machine to free the floor space and it works great, nice and spacious, not too tall, and it is very pleasing to the eye.

Love this laundry basket! Exactly what I was hoping for. I like buying eco-friendly, biodegradable things, and this basket will probably last 20 years (like my last one did!).

This is a beautiful laundry basket but note it’s a round shape, not oval so I am returning it because it dies fit well in narrower spaces. The weaving is very good but the straw used is coarse and if you’re side-body-hugging this basket when carrying between spaces and floor, it’ll snag your clothing. I would recommend this more as a decorative item to hold items rather than a true laundry basket.

We have bought this basket two years in a row now for our annual thanksgiving basket. It is pretty sturdy and able to hold ALOT. We usually put enough food for a family of 8 in it.

I see lots of reviews complaining of stains and smell so I felt compelled to write a review. I have no complaints about the baskets. They are just simply baskets designed to do whatever you decide their purpose is. They are very lightweight, good for laundry. There were no smells or stains on ours and we have no complaints.

This basket is what I use after dryer is completed. I fold the laundered items and place in this basket.

If you want a big basket but you do not want to spend big money then this is not a bad choice. The liner on mine was, as noted by another reviewer, a bit stained and poorly stitched together. I decided that I could deal with that for my intended use as it would be almost always be filled with contents, making that less noticeable. I got most of the staining out with a spray and a wash and cleaned up the worst of the dangling threads and rough edges with a few snips before putting it out. I am using it to house the overflow of stuffed animals off of my dd's bed and for that it works fine. Much easier than having to scoop up the pile off the floor every time I want to vacuum. But if you want a basket to tote laundry around the house I am not sure that the basket or the liner would stand up well to regular heavy use.
