Good OEM+ upgrade for MKIV VW
Installed this radio on a 2004 VW R32. Bought the adapter cable for quad lock and it's working as advertised. Radio fit perfectly, cabling was mostly easy. At first only the tweeters had sound so I reseated the cables and everything worked. The radio antenna did not work however, not sure if the connector is wrong but it didn't fit the OEM one but I do not listen to the radio anyway. Bluetooth works great, and the sound quality is better than OEM in my opinion. I'd recommend it for any MKIV VW owner that wants Bluetooth with an OEM looking radio.

Great for the price
This bolted right into my 2000 Jetta. It sounds awesome and looks great. The lights match the existing dash lights well. I purchased this strictly for the bluetooth and usb option. I will more than likely buy another for my other jetta. I did read however that a harness is needed for a 2002 or newer and is not direct bolt in. Do research on that if you plan on purchasing this head unit for your VW.

Decent but could sound better
This also does not “plug right in”. I had trouble with it and Found out I needed extra wiring. Once in I was disappointed by the lack of bass compared to the original unit. It’s convenient to have Bluetooth and a USB port, but the Bluetooth audio is also not great since this is early Bluetooth tech. I’ve had this unit over a year now and sometimes it doesn’t read my phone from the USB port. This is a great unit since it looks OEM but I may upgrade to something newer for better sound.

Factory like and best value
Works perfect. Could use a dimmer to work with headlights but overall it's well worth $99!

AMAZING UPGRADE!
Amazing upgrade over any stock MK4 radio. This unit has bluetooth, aux, sd, AM/FM, and looks like an OEM option. Sounds just as good as my stock Monsoon radio (will need to buy adapter from Matthew Litke to function properly), and looks amazing. No more tape deck aux cables. Clean OEM look! Amazing sound!
