Do not buy
This lap top stays pluged in, we do not transport it. The weight of the power box is way to heavy for the cord. And has caused the wires to pull away. Horrible quality, and very dangerous! Updated contacted seller... they told me to buy a new one for $30. This charger didnt last 6 months, definitely will not be buying again from this seller, they do not stand behind their products.

Shorter cord, but functional
The actual cord from the computer to the power adaptor is thicker than the original, which makes it feel more sturdy. Conversely, the AC power cord is thinner and feels significantly cheaper. Both cords are notably shorter than the originals. Thankfully my AC power cord was still in good shape or I would have had to change my at home set up.

Lasted One Month
SYSTEM: MSI GE62 Apache Pro SPECS: Intel i7; NVIDIA GTX960M YEAR: 2015 My laptop came with a Chicony A120A007L A12-120P1A A120A010L AC Adapter. The power supply lasted for six years (2015 - 2021) and when it failed I ordered this identical power supply. Just this morning - one month after purchase - I heard a loud pop and the supply was dead. Mind you, I always keep my electronics plugged into certified surge protectors. I'm surprised it lasted so briefly given the lifespan of the identical, original AC adapter. I am going to reach out and see if I can get a replacement and will update my post periodically if the replacement supply lasts as long as it should.
