Metal Polish for Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Chrome & More, 1 lb Can

Trim on a 1970 Chevelle. Took a lot more time than other cleaners, or polishes because you need to mask off all around your molding so no to get this product on your paint. Powerful stuff, if doing small type items like automobile trim, do it slowly and in small overlapping swats.

Great product half the size of last year's can

I'm so embarrassed by the before picture showing the side of my fridge door. I know it looks like I'm a terrible housekeeper but I swear I am not a slob. Matter of fact I've bought everything under the sun trying to remove these spots. Some of spots look like surface rust (?). I have no idea what the biggest spot is from. I've tried stainless polish, spray, you name it and nothing has ever made even the slightest difference. Not even after a good amount of scrubbing, rubbing, etc. Sharkhide removed all of it. Like it was never even there. I used the smallest possible amount of polish on an old sock and applied it in a circular motion. In under 5 min everything had been removed and I grabbed a clean sock to buff out the slight haze left over. I was left with a clean, like new surface that feels smooth and slick, like the way a newly waxed car feels. I 100000% recommend this product and would give it 10 stars if I could. Worked very well for our pontoon toons.

I tested this on a few different materials. I found the best results (at least polishing by hand - the way I used it) came on softer materials (copper and aluminum) but using it on harder materials such as stainless steel took quite a bit more work. Very thick and a nice blue color. I'm not a huge fan of the metal "paint can" it comes in, it's not convenient to have to find something to pry the lid off every time I want to use it. A screw-top plastic container would be preferable, at least to me, and I wouldn't worry so much about it drying out. A tad expensive, but it does work well, especially on easier to polish materials.
