If your dog has gingivitis this product is very useful at reducing the inflammation and redness to the gums. It leaves a coating over the gums and teeth to protect them. It will not remove plaque that is already there but is really good for plaque prevention. It is a product that my vets recommend and sell. It's cheaper on Amazon though. My dog seems to like the flavour of this which is a bonus. It's very easy to apply directly from the tube straight into the teeth for dogs that don't like having there teeth cleaned.

Have used this on many occasions and I guess it is OK but I don't feel qualified to rate it in any meaningful way. The 'flavour' of the toothpaste is not the main problem if you are brushing yous cat's teeth - its the cat! Thankfully, our cat is not aggressive and we have successfully used this but it needs two people (at least) and a good deal of cat wrestling. Good luck if your cat is bigger and/or grumpy!

Improved my dogs oral hygiene. Bad smell has gone and my dog is a lot happier.

Was recommend by our vet for dog and seems to be working. Easy to apply with finger onto dogs teeth and gums. Not too sticky and dog doesn't mind the taste either.

This was very runny and soaked into the brush. Our dog liked the taste at least even if she was not keep on the brushing idea. Didn’t seem to have a great effect x

I use this every day on my dog He has bad gums because of CUPPS disease and this helps

The smell of the toothpaste was quite pleasant used it on my two Bernese found it easy to apply but my dogs are very picky and it did not go down very well. Will have some more try’s and see if they come round to the taste.

Our cat had dental surgery in July 2025 we adviced by vet nurse to use this product twice a day to help with recovery which worked wonders. Also, our cat has gingivitis which we use this product regularly which helps sooths his gum basically cat bonjela. Definitely recommend this product.

Esto me ayudo muchisimo para ayudar con la molestia de las encias de mi perrita (gingivitis). Antes de ponerselo le molestaba para comer y luego de ponerle el gel, se notaba que le aliviaba y podia comer mejor. Ojo, al final siempre hay que hacerles limpieza dental

Ce gel m’a été recommandé par le vétérinaire pour l’hygiène bucco-dentaire de mon chat et depuis que je l’utilise, plus de problèmes de plaque dentaire.

Je ne peux pas juger de l'efficacité vu que je l'utilise depuis 1 semaine. On vient de détecter une maladie parodontale à ma minette de 4 ans 1/2. Déjà 3 dents de tombées et 2 extraites avec un abcès en suivant. Détartrage et gingivite tenace. Déjà elle accepte très bien le gel, l'application est facile grâce à l'embout et le goût ne la rebute pas ce qui est important pour débuter une routine journalière. Après l'application elle fait la fofolle et joue. Puis j'ai un gros câlin. J'en déduit que le produit la soulage,lui apporte du confort et contribue à assainir sa bouche !
