Make sure the sectioned hair goes round the circumference of the barrel ONCE diagonally & twist the styler down from root to end while you curl.

It's not a hot air brush. We suggest your hair be completely dry before styling. Using the hair curler straightening brush on wet or humid hair will compromise the styling results. So USE ON DRY HAIR ONLY.
