An affordable piece of our history display
This was just what we needed for a display of Allied and Axis flags for our community's annual World War II living history weekend. Displayed in this context, it helped generate interest and provided a tangible link with the history panels on display in our History Pavilion. Students who are familiar with today's Italian tri-color flag contrasted it with this one with their teachers. That it was so affordable was great for our modest event budget, and that it is so well-made was appreciated when a spring wind storm swept through, blowing some displays over but didn't affect this flag.
