No, Kupu 10 alarms are not interconnectable.

What are its safety credentials? - ce, en etc.

If you mean the certifications, all Jalo smoke alarms are certified against EN14604 standard. The compliance against this standard is the requirement for CE-marking. Without CE marking, no smoke alarm can be sold within the EU.

Can the battery be accessed?

In Jalo Kupu 10 and Lento 10 products, the battery is fixed, it can not be changed. The battery is also wired and specially designed and thus suitable for use only in these products.

Hi I brought this in June but has stopped working now

Hi ! Most likely you have detached the product from the mounting plate - and then you have not re-activated it again (by turning the mounting plate far enough on the clockwise direction so that the mounting plate pushes down the power activation button). If this is not the case, please contact us at info@jalohelsinki.fi, and let's go through the other possible trouble. The product has a 5 year warranty, so if we can not solve the issue, we will send you a new product to replace the faulty one.
