Review: The book introduces many statistical models from a bayesian point of view. I really appreciated the ones on spatial statistics and panel data, in particular. It is also very well written and systematic. My only critique is the software. The second edition is pretty recent, but it still works in bugs which is, I believe, a recessive programing environment for bayesian statistics (in favor of Jags and, increasingly, Stan)

The book introduces many statistical models from a bayesian point of view. I really appreciated the ones on spatial statistics and panel data, in particular. It is also very well written and systematic. My only critique is the software.
