Keegan has dealt with a lot over the last two years: Death, black magic and the loss of her bond to her chosen mate. But on her eighteenth birthday, the bond with Rourk returns. Rourk longs to be by her side. Though he knows the distance between them causes Keegan physical pain, he wants to give her the time she needs. Now, Keegan faces her hardest decision. Tradition requires elves marry at eighteen. If she accepts the path laid out for her, she will be spared a lifetime of physical and emotional pain. But will that life ever really be her own? Review: More love story - I felt these books were good but more of a love story than anything else, i felt a lot more could have been done with the battle scene to draw you in to the characters,I also felt you should have learnt more about there lifes as elves, fairys etc, but not a bad read as long as you do realise it is more of a love story with a few twists along the way. Amazing ending to an amazing series<3
"You have always been the one for me, Keegan." Consumed, the last book in the amazing trilogy of Keegan's Chronicles by Julia Crane..I was dreading you, not wanting to say goodbye to the characters I have learned to love. But Julia did not disappoint in this last installment. She gave her readers an ending they will love, and her characters an ending they more than deserved. Consumed picks up right where Conflicted left us, Keegan and Rourke's bond has been brought back! Keegan was dating Donald the whole time the bond was gone, she was very much happy with Donald, but now that the bond is back, she knows she can't refuse Rourke or deny the instant connection she feels for him..she knows her relationship with Donald is no more. While mending her relationship with Rourke, Keegan is still having difficulties with the dark magic that runs through her veins, and because of this dark magic instead of just being in slight pain when Rourke is far away from her, she is in agonizing pain..elves by tradition are supposed to get married once they turn 18..If she accepts the path laid out for her, she will be spared of physical and emotional pain, but will that life ever really be her own? I was so nervous going into Consumed, even though I knew Julia would provide me with an amazing story, I was immensely afraid of not getting the ending I hoped for. Thank goodness though that Julia gave me exactly what I wanted and more! Consumed provided the perfect ending for what has been an amazing series. Not only did Consumed end beautifully for Keegan our main character, it also ended beautifully for other characters I learned to love Donald, Thaddeus, Anna, Lauren, Tommy and a few others, so seeing them happy in the end also? Mad ME happy! I especially loved the added relationship of Anna and Tommy, I always felt bad for Tommy and Anna, and always loved each of them as characters, they were both funny, and very caring friends, Julia putting them together made my heart all warm and fuzzy with happiness for them! Not only did this book fill me with happiness over the ending, it also made me insanely happy to see a lot of the characters grow, especially Keegan. At the end of Consumed I felt she had changed a lot from the beginning of the series, and even just from the beginning of Consumed, this may sounds cheesy, but I feel she was really shaping into a nice young lady at the end of Consumed compared to being a girl/kid/teen. Overall this series has been such an enjoyable one, it's sad to think it is already over, but even though I am sad this series is over, I am so happy I got to read it. Julia's Keegan's Chronicles series is one that should be enjoyed by everyone. Goodbye Keegean, Rourke, Anna, Tommy, Thaddeus and Donald, you will be missed! <3

The Warm and Fuzzies
Book #3 in Julia Crane's Keegan Chronicles gives the reader the warm and fuzzies. Keegan and Rourk's bond is back and they are making plans for their future. Donald, the shape shifting tiger is the only sad part of this book that he took the breakup with Keegan so hard. Anna and Tommy meet for the first time and there's an unspoken connection. A few things could have been done better in this book. More time with Tommy and Anna. Though a spark is mentioned everytime the author had Tommy and Anna go off alone we never got to see them interact. There was potential for more story with them but we were left guessing what was happening. Thaddeus hints they may get together but we never see whether they do or not. This does leave things open for a book of their own. I was also disappointed there was so little of Lauren. She's dating a dark fairy we learn in conversation. Again, this leaves open the possibility for another book for the two of them and I hope that Ms. Crane does so. There is so much potential in Anna's story being a witch. If she dates Tommy will he learn of her powers? With Lauren will there be issues with the faeries for Lauren dating a dark faerie and would his dark faeries have issues with him dating a light faerie. I wanted to see more of Thaddeus and his visions. What powers would little brother Warrick have? I wasn't as content with the third book as the first two. It's mostly trying to find and calm down Donald and planning for Keegan and Rourk's wedding. I would have liked to have seen more things happen in the third book. The first book was full of action with the elf war, the second was slow but a pleasant read, I would have liked the pace to have been picked up again. It was a nice, warm and fuzzy story. I liked it, it was well written, I loved the characters, and the whole idea of the story but it had so much potential to be more. I hope Ms. Crane will continue the series focusing on the other characters in the book. I did enjoy the book and to recommend it for those that have read the first two. It's a nice story.

Consumed
Oh so much has happened throughout the series and it continued to be consistent in its greatness through and through. Great end to a great series! Keegan, Rourk and the crew have all matured a great deal. Many changes have occurred and new ones will be made. Some have found extreme happiness and some are experiencing great pain. But the most important of all is that the bond between Keegan and Rourk continues to bloom and prosper! Such a very satisfying series for both YA and adults to enjoy :)

The growth of the characters is amazing
This series has been such a heart-wretching, touching, and action packed from first book to this book. I never want to lose these characters and would like to see more of these books even as spin offs utilizing the other characters brought to the front as the main character instead of supporting characters. I ultimately want to see happy endings for all of the characters. Although their bond is back Rourk wants Keegan to come to him out of love not because it is elfin destiny. He has choosen her as his mate for life but she has to want that. Through the series you can see how each character has grown into their own and strengthened their bonds as friends. This has been a wonderful series to read and will continue to follow this author in the future.

silly read
This series was okay... I like fluffy reads for my lunch breaks, and these satisfied my appetite for fluff, but I can't say I would recommend them (or even admit to anyone that I read them). Maybe I'm getting old, but this series just seemed a bit childish and too fictional. I like paranormal stuff, so it wasn't the fairies, witches, or elves that made it too fictional! Everything was just too perfect for Keegan. I caught myself just rolling my eyes as I read these books, thinking, "Of course that's what happened, because your life is perfect..." I think this whole series could have been a lot better if the characters and the plot had just a bit more depth.
