We bought this case mainly for weekends away and was hoping it could also be used for cabin luggage when flying but the size is greater than nearly all the main airlines allowances and not worth the risk of trying as it will cost you unless your hold luggage allowance allows to to put it in the hold. Anyway with it being slightly larger it is ideal for that short break or weekends away when using the car, train or bus. The case is well made, solid and has plenty of room inside for those short journey clothes. Great buy if it fits your needs but expensive if not.
