My mom purchased this for my brother - their beloved cat, Shadow, is very ill and she knows she’ll be giving it to them soon. It arrived on time, nice quality, in good condition. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it and it will be a nice memorial item to have in their yard.

If you wish to lay this flat on the ground, then no problem. I decided I wanted to stand it up so the deer would not step on it and potentially break it. There is no easy way to prop it up. If the words had been up higher, then it could have been sunk into the ground a bit to hold it up, but that cannot be done as there is not enough plain material below the written words to stand it up in the earth and not hide the words. If there was a detent or some way to prop it up or hang it from the back, it would have certainly helped, but the back is plain and smooth. It is still a very nice sentiment and the piece is sturdy. Time will tell if any fading occurs from sunlight.

I absolutely love it, for my beloved Smokey. Although I'm grieving, I smiled when I opened the box.
