2022 Ram 1500 with 8.4 inch screen. This protector is a tad small, but was well packaged, good instructions, and the clarity is amazing. We'll see how she holds up

I am an IT professional and have installed every type of phone screen protector known to mankind! I purchased the film type for my 8.4 Uconnect screen before buying this. It went on horribly and was total junk. So I got a 2pk of the tempered glass. It certainly feels very thing and fragile. I used to suction cups (only 1 in the kit). I did a dry run and had an ideal of how it fit. It’s as edge to edge as you could possibly be. Unlike others I’ve seen bad reviews on. The first one had 2 bubbles I could not get out. So I tried to gently remove the glass, yup it shattered. But.... the second one went on perfectly. Use the prep kit throughly and the dust remover sticker. It looks like it came from the factory with a glass screen. Yes there is some reflective glare but I like that better than the full matte screen before. It makes the colors stand out a lot more. Check out the close up of the edge, I’m impressed. I’m going to buy another set. This is an unsolicited review!*UPDATE*. After driving a bit and using the touch console I’ve noticed a slight loss in touch response. Before a gentle tap would suffice now it requires a bit more firm touch. Not taking any stars away from it. Since I’m very pleased. It will just take more adjustment on me to be sure to give it a firm touch!

Went to Install , had one corner down and a little crooked and had reposition, only about 20% was touching and the whole piece cracked when I moved it ..after reading reviews this seems to be common.

It was the best decision to purchase this screen protector for my 2019 Dodge ram. It fit perfect and it’s very easy to clean. No scratches seen after cleaning. Happy with this purchase.

This tempered glass screen protector for my Uconnect 8.4" screen in my RAM 1500 has great clarity, and no occlusions. It was easy to install with the provided materials.When installing this product, TAKE YOUR TIME. Be patient, and the results are great. Be aware, most OEM radios have a bezel around the outside with a little bit of a gap between the bezel and the screen. If you are hasty with the installation, you're liable to let the screen protector slip between the bezel and the screen. Good luck getting it out without breaking your brand new screen protector. Install slowly, and start at one corner to press it down. Use a credit card with the (provided) cloth around it to smooth out any bubbles which might appear under the protector; this was really easy on my screen, but it does take a bit of time and patience to work them out.I found no reduction in touch sensitivity at all with this protector installed.The only "downside" to any of these screen protectors, is they are glossy. Finger prints don't appear to be an issue, but unlike the matte finish of the OEM screen, you do pick up a bit more in the way of reflections with this installed. It's a small trade off, but the protection offered is worth it. If you badly scratch or crack the actual radio screen, you're in for a $2,500+ replacement (just the cost of the part).Overall, I'm very happy with the final look and function of this protector.

I'm giving this 5 stars to start and will update if anything happens in the first year. This was installed on a new (still had the factory protective film) 2018 Dodge RAM with the 8.4" Uconnect setup.Easy install, took about 5 minutes to do. Included in the box is a little suction cup, alcohol wipe, some stickers to get rid of lint and a microfiber cloth.As you can see in the picture the protector does not cover 100% I'd say about 98%. This is to allow install without having to pull your dash apart and install it.To use the suction cup, press it to the protector while holding the backside of the protector where you're putting the suction cup, if you try any other way (other than using the box as a hard flat surface) you'll crack it.Clarity is good, and the Uconnect system is still responsive. Once I get some time in the truck and use of the screen I'll see if I can add more photos.
