Review: Works incredibly well. Very high-quality and has an excellent anti-tip feature with Makita saws - Works incredibly well to extend another guide. You will need the Makita kit to join them together. This is an invaluable tool, especially if you are doing finish carpentry and need to do a mider fold. Be sure to that they are straight when you connect to together. To do this simply connect them draw a line with a pencil along the cutting edge , then flip the guide around backwards and do it again along the same line. If you have them lined up straight, you should see the Lions lineup. If not, repeat and make adjustments until they do Align. This is very accurate, and make sure work of cutting down large sheet goods. I already own two, and I think I might buy another so that I could cut even longer sheets. It’s perfectly on Makita saws and has a slit cut so that Makita saws can use their anti-tip feature. Super handy.

**Q: can this be use with any makita circula saw?**
A: It says in the description that you can buy an adapter to use it with any circular saw (Makita 199232-5 Guide Rail Adapter for Circular Saws). Altough, having the plunge track saw would give you better cuts and will take less set up time.

**Q: Has anyone ever used this to cut a 12 foot long solid surface Corian countertop?**
A: Yes, it works great, I've connected 3 X 55" sections with 2x connecting addaptors for each connection for extra strength. As long as you take your time to set it up straight and then check measurements at the middle before every cut it works great. I've managed to rip full 12ft sheet at just 1/2 inch wide without any issues. Hope that helps.

**Q: Are there shorter versions of this track? Like 30" long.**
A: Yeah they make a 39”, it showed up in my suggested when I was looking at tracks

**Q: Do these tracks come with the splinter strips?**
A: Yes, comes complete. This track is EXACTLY the same as the Festool track so all accessories are interchangable.

Works incredibly well to extend another guide. You will need the Makita kit to join them together. This is an invaluable tool, especially if you are doing finish carpentry and need to do a mider fold. Be sure to that they are straight when you connect to together.
