Can I used this in a pellet stove?

Since an pellet stove is similar to an log burning stove, it should work OK. I believe the formula was weakened about 5 years ago. I use to use it to remove creosote from the stove viewing glass while fire was burning. This no longer works.

Can this product be used in a fireplace if i don't have doors? chimney sweep suggested using cre-away.

I have been heating our house with a closed, airtight wood stove for 30 years and I would not recommend the use of ANY chemical product in an open fireplace!

Will this product damage brass?

I don't know but wouldn't trust it, I am very careful to only get it on the glass. My fireplace doors have brass surrounds.
