Oxbow Western Timothy Hay, Rabbit & Guinea Pig Hay, High Fiber, USA, 90 oz

This is the only hay my piggy will eat lately. He will actually turn his nose up at most hays and go without eating any! However after our 2 bag he is now doing it again. The hay looks awful in this last bag! Looks like dried up grass clippings laying in the yard. The first bag was so fresh and green! He absolutely loved it! I’m out of options now Update: I went to return it and they gave me a free bag with two day shipment. The hay is BACK TO BEING FRESH AND GREEN! Piggy is back to loving it! Thank you!

We were using another “top” brand and it wasn’t consistent. So far, our bunny loves Oxbow. It has been very fresh upon opening, the 90oz bag with zip closure keeps it fresh until the end of the bag. The cut is perfect for our hay feeders and bunny doesn’t pull as much out in her litter box. An overall win for the little bun!

My 2 Bunnies have been raised on this Hay. They are 5 yrs old and are happy and healthy. I have 2 Large plastic cat Litter Boxes. In them I put a thick bottom layer of any kind of paper. (My old mail or advertising brochures i get at the grocery store) Then i add a layer of Timothy Hay. The Bunnies will go to the bathroom in one half of the Litter Boxes and eat the Timothy Hay on the other clean half of the litterbox. I clean the boxes every 3 or 4 days. They also get fresh greens in the Morning and Evening. Cilantro is their Favorite. 2 Bowls of Fresh Water are always available. Oxbow Western Timothy Hay has kept my two Bunnies happy and healthy!

We have purchased this Timothy hay from Oxbow for the past year for our guinea pigs. The quality is much better than what we could get at local stores. Very little dust, nice long pieces and really packed into the bag so you get a lot of hay.

I have been buying this hay for our lion head bunny whom we rescued and after feeding him a different brand of hay we found that the Oxbow ine he liked much more.The large bag was gone in about a month . The only thing now is the last tow purchases the hay doesn't seem to be the same it looks like it's dried out and he's not eating as much of it but he's eating it but similar to the way he used to eat hay in the past he didn't really like it but he eats it but not as much.I noticed the second last bag it looked dried out and we ordered another bag which arrived today and it is dried out also .So I am looking from feed back from the company . Good product

Expensive? A bit, but worth it. My guinea pigs love it. Virtually dust free, smells lovely. Would definately recommend this above any other I've tried, and so would the piggies 😀.
