Top amplifier
Purchased to run a DJ Bass Box with my DJ self powered speakers. Wow. How different with my Custom 18inch 600w Bass Bin. Quality equipment.

Brilliant performance for the price , with a few slight issues to be aware of!
First off I’d like to say, I’ve been using a Gemini XGA-5000 amp for quite some time with 2 Behringer EuroLive VP2520 500w rms Speakers, it’s a decent amp but I wanted something newer and more premium. things I like about this amp: • I’ve read allot of reviews online stating the fans on the NX6000D are insanely loud and people describe them as jet engines, however compared to my Gemini amp it’s very quiet (check video) • the build quality feels very good, the knobs don’t have any wobble, the buttons feel nice, and it looks great in a Rack. • I haven’t tested it’s performance fully yet as this setup is in a house and my neighbours haven’t been to work, however it’s handling my 2x Behringer speakers with ease, literally 3 notches on the volume knobs and it’s loud, nowhere near unity gain on the mixer either, so it’s safe to say this would definitely explode my speakers if I cracked it up. • I have also noticed , the bass feels punchier and tighter, kind of like the bass has better, faster response. Things I’m not so pleased about: These aren’t big issues but definitely worth mentioning! • common practice is normally turn the amp OFF first as this prevents a sudden pop from the speakers, this has never been an issue for Transformer style amps, however the NX6000D does make quite a loud harsh pop from the Diaphragm of my speakers when I turn it off, it’s right on the edge of what I’d call normal and it makes me cringe everytime. • the small screen isn’t straight, it’s placed wonky and is very annoying because I just want to straighten it! Apart from those issues, up to now I can highly recommend this amp, however bare in mind it’s not 6000w continuous, according to online forums it’s around 1200-1500w per channel which is insane considering a single 13a socket can take 2860w-3250w, I do believe it’s peak output is around 6000w though but I cannot confirm this. I haven’t tested the software yet so I can’t comment on it, however I will update this review once I have tested it’s functionality along with any issues I may have! 100% worth the money.

puchy, warm low end
This amp has outperformed my expectations. We ran 2 fane colossus 18xb's linked and 2 500w linked into 2 subs a channel and ran this all night with no issues. really warm low end. what I would say is that if you are already running a dsp you wont really need the extra crossover end eq functionality that this provides. saying that its nice to have an extra set of limiter setup a touch higher than the dsp to catch anything just in case.

Unbeatable Value
Behringer is a name synonymous with cheap cost but questionable reliability. Behringer were one of the first audio companies to mass manufacture at low cost in China but at a price - reliability. That was many years ago and a lot has changed since then, Behringer really seem to have got their act together. An early adoption of mass manufacture in China has paid off with much improved quality and where there have been issues, Behringer have listened. When the NX series of amplifiers were released, I was intrigued but their past reputation still hangs around like a ghost. The previous iNuke series was a game changer but there were flaws. These seem to be addressed in the NX series which although re-badged iNukes, there have been improvements under the hood and they look fantastic! The controls are easy to use and indented but the amp is a bit too sensitive for me which is no problem, I keep the input level at about half and control the input using the DCX2496 as the amp is quite hissy at full level input. Another criticism often read is that the fans are loud. They aren't. The criticism has come from users for home audio and yes, in your living room they will be loud but these are professional audio amps designed for live performance and in that respect, the fan noise is normal, I don't ever expect a band to complain about how noisy the amps at the side of the stage are! In terms of sound, these amps sound good, damn good. And when you have several, the weight is a real bonus, these amps are ridiculously light. The power to money ratio of these amps make them hugely attractive, they look great, sound great and can be lifted with a thumb and one finger and with a three year warranty, choosing a new amplifier or replacing old ones make this a no brainer! I think nowadays, you can buy Behringer with confidence and for overall value, it's hard to look at any other manufacturer. The NX series are impressive and you won't be disappointed.

They will blow with no warning - unrepairable
2 amps have now just stopped working with very light use. They are unrepairable. The sound is ok as long as you halve the specified ratings. The DSP is really useful but the power and monitoring design and build are shockingly bad. I also have 10 year old Crown Xti amplifiers which sound better and will go on for another 10 years.
