Tastes like the cough syrup of my childhood
I can't get enough of this stuff. Lovely rich colour, wonderful aroma and full of flavour. It is very sweet and also has a sharpness and syrupy texture, so it's like drinking a liquid boiled sweet. Reminds me so much of the cough syrup I used to love getting as a child. I drink it neat and it goes down too easily, but I have a really sweet tooth and appreciate not everyone will enjoy my approach!

Not 70cl, it’s 50cl
There’s nothing wrong with the item but the product description is incorrect. It states that it’s a 70cl bottle but it’s actually a 50cl bottle, quite a difference.

YUMMY BLACKCURRANT LIQUEUR - it is what it says it is!
I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I drink it diluted with a bit of cold water, and add 3 ice cubes if I want it super cold. It's so tasty, it just slides down like a gorgeous adult version of very strongly made blackcurrant squash - at least, the way I drink it is! I loved Ribena as a kid, my favourite boiled sweet flavour is blackcurrant...you get the idea. If you love blackcurrant, I highly recommend this. I don't know about cocktails, I think it's just lovely diluted a little bit with water. If you want to go stronger and drink it neat, you could, but it will last longer and, in my humble opinion, taste nicer, with a bit of water and an ice cube or two. I REALLY hope that Amazon never do away with it as I can't get out of the house to go shopping and it really is an occasional treat for me to have this as a night cap.
