royal 24 Volt 200 Watt Inverter
Well built, durable and user friendly, but puts out a modified sine wave. My application, however, requires a pure sine wave. So I sadly had to send it back. If Royal would build an equivalent 24 volt, 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter, I would buy it tomorrow, even if the cost were 50% higher. Well, it already contains a microprocessor, and how much would it take to generate a pure sine wave from a pattern in memory? I believe that the future lies with 1000 watt home grown solar power generation, rather than with applications for little mobile campers. I believe that the inverter manufacturers who do not court the solar power interests with 24 volt pure sine wave inverters (12 volt inverters are "kid stuff"), are missing a great business opportunity.
