Removes greese on fabric- Very Hot Water Yeilds best results.
For some reason I always end up with a greese spot on my clothing. No matter how hard I try, either something splatters from the stove, or I drop something on my clothing while eating. However, with this I pour some on the area of the stain, and rub it in with a brush. After that I use the hottest setting on the washing machine and 97% of the time the greese stain is removed. I even tried it on a very old stain. I have also found that clothing that tells you to wash it in cold water, this product doens't remove the stain if you use cold water. It needs the water to be hot. So I have used hot water anyway and found that the fabric was not harmed. However, this may not be the case for all fabrics. I also used it to remove a castor oil soaked cotton cloth. Completley removed the oil from the white cloth, and it looks brand new.

Nothing Works Like Grease Relief
This is probably the best laundry cleaner/grease remover that I have ever used! My wife had an old bottle of it from the 1990's, which we ended up rationing by the drop (literally!) until we used it up because it was no longer available in stores. It had been developed by Dow Chemical and produced and marketed by Texize back in the 1980s. But due to the wonders of Amazon and the internet, the original formula of Grease Relief is once again available.....and here it is! I wondered if it truly was the same, original formula. I am happy to report that it is. This stuff will remove any grease or oil-type stain from your clothes; even if it's an old stain. I was using some other oil-removing cleaners that just didn't work nearly as well as Grease Relief. When I found out that it was available through Amazon, I ordered 4 bottles. I used it to treat several pairs of pants and some shirts with oil stains that no other oil-remover that I tried could remove. Grease Relief removed all the oil stains in one washing machine load. This is a fantastic product!

Great. But so does any kitchen cleaner
I bought this based on all the positive reviews, but it's not what I was expecting. Is there a trick to using this stuff? I bought it to clean grease from the stove-top and everywhere else there are grease splatters. It cleans the thin layer of grease that occurs when you pan-fry anything. Great. But so does any kitchen cleaner. It doesn't clean up old grease splatters that are on the stovetop and walls very well. You have to exert a lot of effort to clean those up, just like any other kitchen cleaner, and I used it at full strength. I guess the only benefit of this cleaner over something like Simple Green is it's not so harsh on your skin and won't irritate your nostrils. So, if you have a great tip for cleaning old grease splatters with this stuff please share. Otherwise, I'll just go back to using Simple Green, which is slightly cheaper.

TOTALLY AWESOME, SO HAPPY TO FIND THIS AGAIN AFTER YEARS OF SEARCHING!!!
I used this faithfully YEARS ago and just by accident I found it here on Amazon. I had a pair of light grey Cuddle Duds sweats that I put in the wash with my dark blue jeans that faded ALL OVER the light grey and dried them before realizing this happen and thought I would give this a try since I had just received it the same day. WELL, low and BEHOLD it got the dye out of my light grey sweat bottoms. I have thrown away tops for this very reason; dye transfer but NO MORE now I have the real McCoy back again. This is the most AWESOME stain remover known to man and believe me I have tried them ALL!!!!

I'll keep looking.
I bought this to clean the vaporized grease off a stainless steel vent hood. This is grease that has been on the hood probably 6 months to a year since the last concerted effort at cleaning it. I'm not sure how grease gets so plasticized and difficult to wipe off. Doesn't seem like anything cuts through it other than just scrubbing and elbow grease. Was hoping this would make that a little bit easier. To be honest, I don't think it helped much if at all. Will have to try it for other applications. I'm sure it will come in handy somewhere else. I will continue my search for something that can cut through hard grease. Not sure what this stuff really is but it seems as much like dish soap (Dawn maybe?) as anything else. Maybe it will work great for washing the dishes.

Not for set in oil stains?
Sadly didn’t work for us. I purchased it specifically for getting set-in oil stains out of one of my son’s shirts. I pretreated using this full-strength, let it sit for an hour or two, then washed. When the oil didn’t come out, I repeated the process a second time to no avail.Gave the product 3 stars as this may work for the other applications stated (appliances and whatnot). I haven’t tried it yet. I’m open to trying it as a cleaning product since I have a whole bottle. I’ll also keep it on hand for fresh oil stains and see how it does in those.

must have
I used this product in the 70's at McDonald's . I use to manage the store. The floors were a greasy mess at the end of the day. We would just squirt some on and use a very hot mop and they would be completely clean. I have never used a product like this. I could not find it for years. My son loves to cook and there is grease all over but not I have a weapon to restore my kitchen back to clean and non-greasy. This is am amazing product.

Grease destroyer!
it does the job, I like that its kind of a gel form. Its the Constance of dish washing soap, so I am happy cause I am not overwhelmed my fumes like other spray-able liquids. My stove had seen some better days! I applied this degreaser on the stove top and let it marinate for a couple of hours, it was easy to cleanup the grease, but I still had issues getting out the burnt food or stains. I still had to put some elbow grease to scrape these burnt food and liquid particles.
