Motorola Droid Ultra Maxx Old School Retro Gameboy Phone Case Cover

I always look for retro Nintendo cases for my phone. Since the Ultra Maxx is new, its hard to find unique cases for them. Trekcovers is the only place I've found cases for my phone. They fit like a glove and look better in person than in the pictures!P.S. Star Wars cases would be a huge seller. F.Y.I.

I picked this case for my brother because I thought he would get a kick out of Game Boy look.The phone case is a hard 2 piece snap on (No snap off! Lol..). If I had read this description I would not have purchased this, Game Boy look a like or not. Once the case is on, it's on. There is no easy way to take the sucker off. When I purchased this case I also purchased the Beautiful Vintage Pattern on Black Phone Case (I wrote a review for it too. Yep I'm the "broke her nail girl"). It's as if the 2 pieces are super glued together. It took me at least 30 minutes to get it off without damaging the case or my phone (I thought about chunking it at the wall hoping it would break. For the sake of my new phone I withheld my rage).On first glance of the case I was disappointed because I thought the Game Boy features would be more 3D. Meaning the buttons would be actually raised off the case. Nope. It's just a very nice screen printing job, with shadow definition.I give this 3 stars because of the nice printing. Though it wasn't how I thought the features would be, it does not take away the coolness of the theme. Let's say from a distance it looks 3D but up close and personal, it clearly is not.Hope this helps in your purchasing decision.

I've had this case over a year and it still looks great. A small amount of rubbed corners, but it's such a small blemish that it really isn't noticeable. Fits my Droid Maxx perfectly. My case is white, though.

Does not fit, I even tried on two other droids and could not get it to clip on. Even if it did, the plastic is so thin it wouldn't have given any protection.WASTE OF MONEY!

I was very excited to get this case because of its awesome graphics. What I got was not awesome. Take the picture they give and shrink all of the graphics. Shrink them a lot and that's what you'll actually get. The screen doesn't even cone close to the edges of the case. It looks bad frankly. I got what I paid for that is for sure.

I am purchasing my second one now. The reason is because I want one that looks new again. Worth the money though as the reason for it not looking new is just (in my opinion) the usual wear and tear. It is WHITE, so eventually it won't look so white anymore. It took on a pinkish hue, which makes sense given it is the winter and I primarily have worn my crimson red leather gloves a lot. I have gotten a lot of compliments about this from fellow geeksters who come from the 80s and 90s :) Though, they were then a bit disappointed when they realized it was a phone case and not the real thing.Of note, yes, this case CAN come back off. It's not easy, but it shouldn't be easy (again, in my opinion). I wouldn't want it easily coming off at wrong times! But yes, I took mine off to try another case on which didn't fit, and got it back on. I was careful, basically using my fingernails.

I have an extremely difficult time finding unique cases for my Droid Maxx that cater to my inner nerd. I stumbled across this case and immediately had to have it. It fits perfectly! Thank you TrekCovers for providing a product that fits my phone and the ability to express my individuality!

paint rubs off with usual wear and tear, but came solid, quickly, and does the job!
