I was a bit skeptical at first when reading reviews and seeing other guys grinding to match their 2.5" receiver, but I decided to give this product a try. I'm glad I did. While unboxing, I was pleased at the light weight of the aluminum alloy and the overall look and design of the hitch. The finish is polished aluminum and comes with 3 standard ball sizes and up to two at a time are secured inside the hitch mount by a large allen bolt for each ball. No way for the balls to come out while mounted on vehicle. As for the fitment on my 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins - it fit my 2.5 receiver with ease and no grinding required. I have a couple large trailers that I've already tested with this hitch and couldn't be more pleased. So for any you guys out there on the fence about this specific receiver... go ahead, pull the trigger like I did, you won't be sorry. And no, I'm no sponsor nor affiliated with the seller... lol

Some posters say the keys break off. It comes with two locks, and two sets of keys. On the one I received, the 1st lock worked easy, but the 2nd needed a bit of tinkering. The key did not go in all the way, so when I gave it a bit of force it finally went in and turned easy, and then worked great. If it won't turn it's not all the way in. For the price, this is an excellent well built hitch. Two locks, 3 balls, adjustable 8 inches.....what's not to like.

This is really a very nice trailer hitch. It looks great on my truck (2.5" shank model) and does a great job of dropping my ball height to work with our smaller trailers. The issue is that the parts that make up this hitch package are loose fitting. Every part of this setup has slop. So there is a fair amount of noise from this assembly. The PINS that hold the balls in place look to be pretty strong but I will be keeping an eye on them as I have seen a few reviews that have stated the pin can bend or even break. Time and use will tell. Also, I checked the 2.5" shank and mine is also 2.3" as well. So there is slop and movement on my F350's hitch mount as well. I attempted to use a shim to take up the space but it just works itself out over time. I really wish it was a tight fit. Its completely worth the money for what you get, as long as you are willing to live with its nuances...

I don't think there is competition for a 2.5 drop hitch at this price range. The hitch is sturdy... very sturdy, and all the way through from the receiver connection to the ball-connection pins. It took me about five minutes to understand the assembly and I already feel like a pro at it. It had a small rattle when installed but that was non-existent when bumper-pulling; side note, if you are running your hitch without a trailer you are wrong to begin with. If you don't have a load, take the hitch off (this one is EASY to remove and light-weight for the size) and toss it under your back-seat like a good truck-driving citizen. Enough of the rant... just give this a shot and be happy with your purchase, it's a solid hitch.

It works great. Hell it looks like a piece of art. Came with simple instructions and two matching locking pins with a total of 4 keys. 3 interchangeable balls make it super versatile. The weight of this thing only comes from the balls for the most part. Fits my 2.5" receiver without issue. Well made and easy to adjust as long as you can find the key that is.

The Uriah hitch is a great value! Not only does it come with 3 different size balls, but it also come with 2 locking pins (some state not the best locking pins but at least they include them when other brands just give basic clip pins). The fit and finish is amazing and to be honest, I was shock at how nice it is at this price point. Some reviews stated they had fitment issues, but I had no such problems. It fits perfectly on my 2019 Ford F250. PS - Be sure to get the updated model with the set pins and not the one with the screws.

First, the thing I disliked the most about the product was how loose it was. It was supposed to fit in a 2.5” square receiver but the shank only measured 2 7/16”, which sounds close but is a lot of room to wiggle (and rattle). In addition to the shank being loose in the vehicles’ receiver the ball carrier was loose on the vertical shaft - which is interfacing with a party they make! The whole thing just moved when I grabbed it and jiggled. To add insult to injury, although the seller accepted my request to return the item, I was on the hook to pay for the return shipping ($20 at UPS and $32 at USPS) even though I was returning the product due to a flaw in its execution, not a personal whim. On the plus side the hitch looked very nice in polished aluminum, and I loved the overall design and the price - it was great to get 3 interchangeable balls for a single hitch and the locking pins were a nice touch. Bottom line, I’m returning the hitch and trying to pick a model that doesn’t have similar issues.

As others have mentioned, you may have to grind off the corners to get it to fit. I had to for my 2019 F350. Other than that small issue, it appears to be a great and versatile hitch.

The hitch is strong and sturdy and easy to adjust as well as lock for security

2.5" fit is very very loose fitting, still need to use it but out of the the box im 50/50 if im going to keep it becuase of how loose it fits. As a side note the entire kit fits the back seat cooler bin in the ram trucks. Long term update: It's done everything ive asked of it, the locks are garbage after a winter but the Hitch is always on my truck. Definitely recommend.
