Short-lived but lovely
The aesthetic is sleek and professional, the grip is very comfortable. The ink is smooth, vibrant, and dries quickly. However, writing ~2 pages a day is enough to deplete all the ink within a month and a half. I’ve had pens last many months of regular use for this purpose — I use these to write good morning and good night letters to a loved one each day, and for no other purpose. I bought the pens mid-July, and now we are at the end of the first week of September and the first pen’s ink is empty. Good thing it’s a 3-pack.

These liquid gel ink pens write smoothly and will not smear as long as the paper isn't exposed to moisture in the future.

I consider myself a pen snob. It really has to feel comfortable in my hand, has to write smoothly, has to have adequate ink in each refill, and have refills available. When I say it has to feel comfortable in my hand and write smoothly, I ma not even slightly kidding. My 2 biggest pen snob points. The EnerGel pens are wonderful! They are so comfortable to hold, and with which to write, they write beautifully and smoothly. I used to have a different favorite pen and that is the only pen I would use. Then...I found EnerGel pens. I have never looked back. I love the fact that you can get these pens in tons of colors. I am a visual learner so lots of color helps! I am a graduate student and so I take lots of notes, and lots of colors are essential. Having a pen that feels good and writes beautifully is also essential. This pen checks every box. I do not care what color it is, the pen is fantastic. I have it in several colors.
