As someone who has used this product, and also has a degree in nutrition and dietetics I would like to clear up what many are saying about this being a multi-vitamin that could come from GNC. It's not, not even close.First, the ingredients in multivitamins are almost never traceable, or in their most bio-available form. You could take all the B-12 in the world, but if you don't take it as methylcobalamin, your body can't absorb it. The same goes for other vitamins often included in a multi. VitaBeard goes above and beyond the majority of multivitamins and provides a specific blend of vitamins in their most bio-available forms. Not only that, this supplement is traceable - you can actually see where the nutrients are coming from (and the form they come in). This is hugely important, because many companies have very low standards as to what sources they take their supplements from. In fact walgreens, target, and walmart were all just busted for selling sawdust and rice powder as vitamins. The VitaBeard vitamins are being sourced from plants and actual foods, as you can see on the label. The iodine is derived from organic sea kelp, the vitamin E from sunflower oil, etc. I have spent a good deal of time studying mineral supplements, and this is one of the highest quality and purest supplement labels I have ever read. On top of that, its vegan and non-gmo - no fish gelatin or endocrine disrupting pesticides piggybacking their way into your body.Now for the blend at the bottom. This is what really sets VitaBeard apart and distinguishes it even from the best multivitamin out there. It contains MSM, PABA, Silica, methionine, choline, and inosotol. Not only do all of those have an effect on cellular generation, repair, hair health and growth, they are all highly effective. PABA has actually proven to turn hair from grey back to color. For anyone who has experienced this while using the product, thank PABA. MSM is also know to aid in cell division and tissue repair, which aids in accelerated hair growth. Next, the silica derived from horsetail extract is vital to strengthen and thicken hair. I could go on, but hopefully it is clear that this product is much more than a multivitamin. And even if it was, I might still take it because VitaBeard offers such a quality supplement.

Let me start by saying I am a REAL person and this is a REAL and HONEST review and no one has paid me to say anything good or bad about this product. I normally grow a thick and respectable beard. This wasn't really a necessary thing for me to try but I was curious. I have to shave once a month and I wanted to see how much length I could grow in one months time. So I bit the bullet and paid the outrageous price for this gimmicky product. I was skeptical but hopeful! I WANTED to see these vitamins work. Alas I am sorry to report that if these vitamins did ANYTHING at all, they slowed my beard growth down!!! Even my wife noticed my beard wasn't growing nearly as fast as it did in previous months when I wasn't taking these vitamins. It's also important to note that this is basically just a daily multivitamin with a ton of biotin in it. Presumably the maker of this product believes that a lot of biotin leads to better hair and nail growth. And while that is widely accepted as fact, there is no concrete evidence or data to support that assumption. Over all I am very disappointed and would not buy this again or recommend this to a friend, or even an enemy.

Soo far ive tried this for at least 2-3 weeks, everyday taking it, 3 times a day, and to be quiet honest, i have not notice any improving on my facial hair. One thing I have notice though, like many people in here in the reviews have mentioned, the urine does smell, really bad. This actually made me think as to maybe all the vitamins im just pissing them right out, if that is true, then this is not for me,and i dont know if i gotta drink my own urine to make it work. ALSO to keep in mind. If you are someone like me who is not "genetically" favored to have a lot of facial hair and hope that this will improve, thinking again, for me it has not help not one bit. Of course, i have not finished the product yet, and who knows, maybe later in the road i start to notice the changes, but as of right now, there are none. But the urine smelling bad. Also, the pills do smell, but not that bad, i think people are exaggerating over the smell.Anyways, if anybody has any more insight as to why it may not work, or as to why im not seeing results, please drop a comment. My little philosophy of me urinating the vitamins has me worried. Anyways, i hope this was helpful to anyone. I will keep you guys updated.UPDATE:12/8/13It's been 2 weeks or more that i have finished the entire bottle. I will admit, I am seeing results. I guess my body takes longer to show the effect. Like i said earlier in my review, i am probably not the most genetically favorable person to have facial hair but this bottle, helps. For example, I never had facial hair other than in my upper lip. With this, im starting to see a couple of chin hairs ( lol ) i mean, you can't expect to go from no facial hair to a full bearded face, its just not possible.So i take back with how i rated this first ( a 2 stars) and putting it to a 4. Oh and my upper lip facial hair is more thicker and fuller :) so this product does work, and i recommend if you are willing to be patient and give it time. I wont be done here. I'm planning to buy my next bottle real soon :)
