the DUFFEL | Waxed Cotton Canvas Duffel Bag with Leather Handles

Wow. This is such a masculine, beautifully designed bag. It's red inside the main zippered compartment and also in the outer side pocket, which runs the length of the bag. The handles are a soft suede that feels like it could stretch if the bag were packed with heavy items but I bet it will last forever. The zipper to the main compartment isn't the most robust zipper I've seen but I trust it will last, too. I travel a fair amount and often by car. I'm out of town this weekend in fact. The bag is perfect for weekend trips. Plenty of room for several pairs of jeans, t-shirts, toiletries and an extra pair of shoes. It is not big enough to also fit my laptop and accessories but I assumed that when I ordered it. I have a small leather computer briefcase for that. I highly recommend this bag if you need a simple (just a few pockets), masculine, rugged but upscale weekend bag.

This weekender duffel was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I typically try not to spend too much on luggage, but I really needed a reliable bag for weekend trips. Fat Felt's Weekender has been perfectly suited for every one of my short trips, from flying to San Francisco for a wedding over a long weekend, to tossing into my truck for a few day trip to the cabin in the mountains. Its shape accommodates all sorts of items, and it really seems able to fit much more than what it appears from the outside. The pockets are nice, both inside and out, and it's super convenient to find and store smaller items. I just wish there was one bigger pocket on the outside! It'd be nice for a book or something. Overall, the style and versatility of the bag make me excited to use it every time I go somewhere, and I have gotten a compliment in every airport I've been in. Sweet product.

Love this bag and their products. Their shaving kit is also great.This bag is a solid 2 day trip size. I am an aggressively light traveler so could probably get 3 similar climate days in it.Love the zippers.Love the pockets, super thoughtful and great mix of zippers and easily access.Cons: I would love a button clasp handle on the two grab handles so they don't flop around.I would really really love some padding on the shoulder strap. I can quickly see that 2 days with a laptop is going to kill your shoulder carrying through the airport.Otherwise I would not change a thing and would have given 5 stars

Though I thought the quality of this bag is lovely and stylish, it is smaller than I expected. A reviewer said he could get all his weekend clothes inside; that is not the case for me. Picture the size of a brown grocery sack. Holds no more than that. So I sent it back. But it is very nice if you are looking for a small bag.

It's true, this duffel is a little smaller than I was expecting, but it's also perfect. The feel is great - fabric, leather, weight. And its got the most perfect pockets for everything. I really am looking forward to using this for years. I was a little worried about the red interior because I'm not usually a fan of red, but on this bag it's perfect. Customer service of the company is also fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Above and beyond!

This is a great bag. Simple and elegant design, quality materials, silky smooth zipper, looks great and is almost exactly what I was looking for in a bag. It is smaller than I would like (only reason for 4 stars), but it makes a great carry on and is small enough to put under the seat on a plane.

I love this bag. Aptly named, it is perfect for a weekend trip to the mountains or a quick business trip. It fits an extra pair of shoes, a couple of changes of clothes and my Fat Felt Dopp Kit. The materials are durable and beautiful. The pockets are great for keeping the small things organized - the side zippered pocket is perfect for keeping my wallet and phone handy and secure.

I received my duffel last week and tested it out over the weekend. It was exactly what I was looking for- I was so pleased!! It fit everything I needed for a weekend away, including my FF dopp kit. It's durability allowed me to confidently throw it into the back of my car and in a tent without worrying about ruining it. It will be a staple in all my weekend travels! Thanks FF!
